We shall miss Sadie, especially Far Guy as he loves to irritate and play with her. She likes men better than women. She is reliably potty trained, comes most of the time when called, she knows sit, down and is working on stay. She can let herself in and out of the doggie door, she quietly sleeps in the kitchen at night. Her kennel remains in the living room...Phoebe is often found sleeping inside the kennel.
Sadie should go to dog obedience classes and is on the waiting list.
We will also miss Little Elvis when we are back at our home in the woods.
Sadie in the back yard she has a safe fenced in yard to run and play. Her nose is always busy!
She has grown so much! She is a big girl now!
The snow that most everyone else got yesterday in Minnesota showed up here as just a trace of snow. Not enough to make the ground white.

It sounds like you and Far Guy will Really miss Sadie. You seem to have grown quite fond of her. I bet she will miss you both also when you move back home. Any thoughts on getting a dog for yourselves?

We got just a dusting of snow last night and I must say, it is more demoralizing than an eight inch snow storm in January.
What a cutie! I know Dad misses all the puppies Jem had last summer. Mom gets frequent updates from every single person who bought a puppy. It's wonderful they are able to see them grow up
Sadie is such a beautiful dog, and she'll be so happy to see her "babysitters" when you get to visit in the future. I'm sure you are ready to get home again. Safe travels.
I think every puppy should go to obedience puppy classes. It not only helps with socialization, training the dog ~ it helps train and open the owners eyes!! I've had dogs my whole life, yet learned so much from taking Tank to classes. I was bummed when our clinic didn't offer additional group training until dogs were over a year. Then Covid hit.
I am sure it is bitter sweet moving back home, for many reasons. I always think it is an adjustment going to a new place, and another one leaving it. The good part is you will continue enjoying both living scenarios :)

I know you're both going to miss Sadie a lot. She sounds a lot like Zoey in her training. Come is the hardest one for her so far. When we started, she came to us each time but not now. Grrrrr.
We had about 2 inches of snow last night. It's supposed to be in the mid forties this afternoon so it will melt but gosh, March sure came in like a lamb and is going out like a lion!

Are you going home pretty soon? I know you’ll love it when you can go, but this has been a life saver for you. I hope Sadie doesn’t shed like my Phinnie. The hair is never ending.
Sadie is such a pretty dog! She's learned a lot in the last few months - I'm sure your training has been much of the reason.

Oh my, that last picture does show how much Sadie has grown! Thank you for sharing her early months with us. Who doesn't love watching a puppy grow up! You are both sure going to miss Sadie and Little Elvis and I'm sure they will miss you. You've been an important part in Sadie's early months and she will want to visit you. 😉
Like Aurora said, I too was thinking the move back will be bittersweet for you two. So convenient to be close to the doctors etc. and getting to be part of Sadie's puppy hood- but I'm sure you are itching to get home too.
We have all enjoyed watching Sadie grow and become a growing up dog.
