17 and 18

I made some progress on my Patchwork Mosaic Afghan.

Square 17

Square 18

Almost as pretty on the back!

 Back of Square 17

Two more squares to go and then I can start putting borders on each square and put them together.  I hope to get the next two squares done in the next week.  We will see.

It has been a fun project learning all the different designs.

Far Guy speaks with his sister everyday.  Yesterday she was very tired.

It was 44 F or 7 C eh yesterday... it was a melting day!

I sure love your patchwork mosaic! Wow!
My Grandmother used to make what she called crazy quilts. They were of every color imaginable. These remind me of that with all of their colors.

I'm fascinated by those squares. If I ever finish this cross stitch my fingers are itching for some yarn! I'm going to look for a video to see how mosaic is done.
I'm glad Far Guy is able to speak with his sister often. Dennis's Mom's sister has had to stop chemo for a few weeks as it was making her so ill. She only had two treatments. She is sounding weaker too.
Blessings,
Betsy

The mosaic is beautiful! It looks so intricate that I haven't even dreamed of trying a single pattern.

While it can't be easy, I'm sure Far Guy and his sister are appreciating their conversations.

Thank goodness that FG can speak to his sister each day through this difficult time. That is a blessing for both I'm sure. Those designs on the blocks look so pretty and so precise. Good job!

I need to get crafting again. I have lost my craft mojo but my cleaning mojo is un full swing. I love your mosaic crochet! It's wonderful that Far Guy and his ister can have this time together.

So glad FarGuy and his sister are talking regularly. :)

The mosaic looks complicated. It reminds me of the Indian blankets and rugs.

So...44 F is a melting day? Well, I guess if you take it literally. Sure beats being under 32 F!

Nice work on your squares. Steady progress feels so good!

Wow! 44 degrees. You will soon catch up with us.
Those crochet patterns are wonderful, and I can see how doing different designs would be fun.
Peace be with FG and his family.

All the different squares are nice but #17 is particularly appealing to me. That afghan is going to be amazing.

Your mosaic afghan is going to be gorgeous according to those beautiful squares you are completing! I think about far guy's sister every day and wonder how she is getting along. Prayers for her and the whole family. Yes it's melting here too....we're finally getting rid of some of the ice from that last ice storm!
