We only have one Lilac that will bloom this year.
That one Lilac has one bloom. Be thankful for what you get...that might be the message.
Far Guy has a real bad tooth, he saw the Dentist and it will be pulled next week. Far Guy is having a procedure this week and there was no need to rile things up worse than they already are.
I finally had time to clear off my desk ...it was a disaster. I am all packed for the next medical adventure. Six appointments.

Praying.

Keeping you and Gene in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteLilacs around here weren't too good either. Prayers being sent.
ReplyDeleteEeeks. Well, I hate cleaning up my work area that means I have to organize. But I feel better afterwards.
ReplyDeleteYep, get that tooth taken care of!
Keeping you all in my thoughts.
One lilac is better than none. I hope FG gets that tooth taken care of. Poor guy, if it's not one thing it's another. :-(
ReplyDeletePrayers. Gosh, your lilacs bloom so much later than ours. I had blooms in late May.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, you are very busy with appointments. Good luck with all of them. Take care of one another.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stressful time of life it is for you both. Still holding you close in thought & in prayer. Our lilac bushes didn't have many blooms this year at all... and my Lily of the Valley never did bloom. I think it was due to how horribly cold it was so late in spring. We had snow even after I planted my tomatoes! Hopefully next year things will be better for all of us.... on many levels. Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteOne thing after another for Far Guy. Poor man, he needs to get a break from health related things doesn't he? You have some good excuses for not keeping your desk cleaned off.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty color! Prayers are with both you!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness it's been a time for you two! My desk is awful and I don't have the excuse you do either.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Toothache too? Nothing like piling it on! Poor Gene and you too! Praying for you both.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on clearing off your desk. I know in my case that can be a big job. I hope the trip for appointments goes a little faster this time and that the appointments are not too difficult for Far Guy. I sure feel for him having to get a tooth pulled on top of everything else. I had one pulled a couple of months ago and was supposed to get an implant to replace it but I chickened out. I hate dental work. Good luck to Far Guy - I hope it all goes as smoothly as possible for him and you.
ReplyDeleteI’m sure that one little lilac bloom is much appreciated! They smell so nice. I hope all goes well with the coming procedure. Not fair he had to have a tooth problem, too!
ReplyDeleteKeeping you both in my prayers... blooms, even if they are only one or one that survived deer nibbles, are beautiful and bring joy.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about FG's tooth. Just too much for anyone to deal with. Under all your stress, I'm sure it is hard to concentrate to tidy your desk, pack or anything. God bless you guys. xo
ReplyDeleteThis year you really could have used an abundance of blooms.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a trooper, Connie. Getting ready to head off into the sunset with more appointments and poor far guy, needing a tooth pulled. UGH! Praying that all goes well for both of you in these difficult days. I love your lilac....I think I can smell that delightful smell from here....even if only one! Peace and Blessings to you Both.
ReplyDeleteYou must feel like a professional medical appointment attender.! I hope things go well.
ReplyDeleteTooth ache is horrible but so annoying when you have no teeth
ReplyDeleteYou have had a lot on your plate lately! I hope things get better for you. Poor Far Guy... toothaches are the pits.
ReplyDeleteWe have sunshine and some warmth - take care!
ReplyDeleteOne bloom on your one lilac bush. Not much of a show I'd say but better than none.
ReplyDeleteAs if FG needed a bad tooth yet on top of everything!!
Ugh, not a toothache on top of everything else! That needs prayer too, so we'll add it to the list. I've always thought lilac bushes had minds of their own... "maybe I'll bloom this year - meh, maybe I won't." Blessings always! ♥
ReplyDeletePoor Gene! When it rains it pours. I will keep you both in my prayers....you're now a 'regular' on my prayer list....not sure that's a good thing but I hope it is!
