Snow

It began to snow Sunday afternoon.

snowing

Ain’t it purdy?  We are supposed to get 3 – 6 inches of the beautiful white stuff.

I watercolored on some stamped images for cards.  Did some laundry and cleaned the bathroom.

Far Guy got out the steam mop and mopped the tile floors and then he paced back and forth getting in all his steps in the house.  Far Guy made supper; chicken breasts marinated in pineapple juice and soy sauce, french fries in the air fryer and cooked carrots.

Late in the afternoon I filled bird feeders in anticipation of the snowfall…the birds need extra energy when it snows and the wind blows.

We made a grocery list and menus for the week.  Such is life in the fast lane.

It sounds like a nice, comfortable winter pace you have going there, Connie. Just about the same around here, which I'm grateful for. Love, Andrea

I just peeked out the window. We did indeed get about 6 new inches of that white stuff. Today is going to be the 'good' day. I doubt any machinery will work at all outside later this week.

The snow held off here until about 9:00PM last night . Then it let loose. We had about 6 inches at 3:00AM this morning as I helped my hubby shovel out so he could go to work. Schools are all closed around here as the snow continues to fall most of the day today. I have an appointment for 10:00 AM but am going to cancel as I don't think I will be able to get out of my driveway. Way to much blowing and drifting snow for this old lady to handle by herself. Stay safe.

I haven't seen any snow here yet this winter. While you are getting slammed, we are in a very mild winter pattern. I like it! Those birdies sure appreciate the food, I'm sure. :-)

The snow fell and the wind blew - woke up to some nice drifts by the door.

Sounds like a wonderful day to me!

I think we only got maybe 1-2 inches. There was quite a bit of drifting here. The chicken sounds good!

You've still got to eat in the fast lane.

Fargo only ended up with 1.7 inches it says. Mostly crazy, cold WIND! Now the super deep freeze through till Friday. Your day sounded like the perfect inside winter day. :)

I love the pace of your life. I’m looking forward to retirement when hubby can stay home with me all day too. I am trying not to wish the years away though. Stay warm and comfy my friend. Blessings, Betsy

Not so bad for January but i think you have worse on the way — that Polar Vortex thing that we never even heard of until a few years ago. Stay warm, stay busy, stay safe.

Stay warm! It will be interesting to see what the top number will be at the snowstick this year. It must be near 18 inches by now I would guess?

Looks pretty, but I don't want any right now!

Your temps are way too cold. Our weather is actually too warm and dry.

Far Guy can cook for me anytime! BTW...do you like your steam mop? Do you like the air fryer? Curious minds want to know.

I refilled our feeders too and put out some suet. Lucky for you that Far Guy takes over dinner duty sometimes... dinner sounds delicious!
