I found this photo in my archives. Our fields look similar today...but it was warm so much of our snow has melted.
There are Sandhill Cranes in the background with Trumpeter Swans and Canada Geese out front.
My thoughts...I like birds...they do not have "stuff"...they have what they need to get along day by day. Three different species of birds all getting along in the same area...
maybe people could learn from birds.
Happy Spring!

It is a nice thought...isn't it...

Happy Spring back to you. It feels like it here, pretty warm and mild.
ReplyDeleteI notice the Cardinals are like that at my bird feeders. They don’t try to root out the smaller birds. Be a red bird!
ReplyDeletePeople could learn a lot from not only birds but other animals too. Happy First day of Spring!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the birds!
ReplyDeleteDon't' you love this time of year when spring is springing and all the birds and waterfowl are heading back north?!?!?
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite experiences is waking up at Dave's cottage (on the north shore of Lake Erie) SUPER early one morning to a very strange noise. I went outside to see what it was and it was hundreds and hundreds of swans flying overhead. It was amazing.
ReplyDeleteSome people could learn from just common sense.
ReplyDeleteI do love watching the birds, too. But they can squabble and fight over territory--lol!
ReplyDeleteYep! So true. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the birds winging their way back north. As Rita says, they do have their disagreements, especially the Canada geese. Some people call them hissing cobra chickens. Never step into a group of them when walking, they can be very mean!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY SPRING!!!! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI think humans are capable of living like birds. I mean, Native Americans did so in our country for thousands of years before the Europeans arrived, with all their stuff.
ReplyDeleteYes, maybe people could learn from birds!
ReplyDeleteSo peaceful. Hope things are going well.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the sandhill cranes before...I've only heard of them because supposedly they are good to eat.. I don't know though, since I don't eat meat much. They are pretty though
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture.
ReplyDeleteI like the bird pics. They have a Sandhill Crane "weekend" up the road about thirty minutes where they light for the weekend - - about the same time each year. We thought about going this year but it was soon after my cataract surgery and I did not need to be out in any wind yet.
ReplyDeleteDid the different and preferred brand medicine infusion help your husband more than usual so he could heal better? I pray so.
Hi Lynda, Too soon to tell.
DeleteA nice photo and yeah people can learn from birds
ReplyDeleteNature has a way of humbling us.
ReplyDeleteVery cool picture! Hope you're both doing well!
