Hanging in there

Far Guy is doing his best to do everything he should to get better. It all takes time.  He is tired.  I am tired.

IF we were sloths we could just hang around in trees upside down eating the most tender shoots....they leave the trees to poop once a week on the forest floor...who knew?

The cloth sloth is now framed and at the consignment shop...I wonder how long it will be there?

My other baby brother and she who sees robins first stopped by and had lunch with us yesterday, good to see them again!  They were out in Western North Dakota visiting Katie, Hunter, Gavin, Jordan and Aubrey.

I made chicken wild rice soup...it was whats for supper yesterday.  Chicken soup makes everything better!

Rich said his bed was the best in the world, especially when Charlie joined him.

  4. You're right - chicken soup does make things better. You both need to just settle in and get lots of rest. The sloth piece really is delightful, and I'll bet it sells quickly.

  7. That sloth looks even prettier and more defined framed than without. You are correct about the chicken soup! Science has actually proven there is something natural in it that does help with healing. So it is delicious and nutritious! And I know I don't have to tell you - - - sleep whenever your body says it needs it. That is very healing, too. Thank you for the update.

  12. I'm just about to get myself out of my chair, Icing and elevating done. morning PT done, 15 minutes on the stationary bike done, just getting up, showering and having breakfast done. All of these don't sound like much, but they take effort and the push to keep myself going. Now I'll go outside for a walk and find Tom, who has to do all the yard work by himself now. Recovery is slow, but steady, I think. We keep going. You too.
Chicken soup sounds good. I might let Campbells make mine.

Love that sloth and I'm sure it's not going to last long in the shop.

  15. I am right there with you! I can't seem to shake this eye infection, I'm tired...I get up and do one little thing and then have to go sit down again. I am like a sloth or a slug...not sure which. The sloth picture is adorable! Hang in there!
