Still chilly

We came out of the deep freeze to grey dirty snow.  You wouldn't even want to make a snowman.

Far Guy had three appointments yesterday...all is well as can be expected.  He saw a Cardiologist and a Pulmonologist.  We went  out for lupper at our favorite Mexican place here in East Grand Forks.  Far Guy likes their tacos and I like the loaded nachos.

We stayed out of the extremely cold weather for four days, ventured out for an afternoon on Tuesday and back in for Wednesday's sub zero temperatures.

How cold was it?  Chickens would have lined up at the oven to bake:)

  6. Chickens lining up to bake - LOL!! It only got to about -14 here with wind - and we've had so much colder over the years. But we've had such a warm winter that this felt horrible. We woke this morning to a dusting of snow. We could sure use the snow that Houston and Florida got yesterday.

  12. The bitter cold has finally broken here as the strong west wind is pushing the cold air further east.

  13. Still very cold here too. We had HVAC guys here yesterday installing a Heat Pump and Hot Water Heater, so our furnace was off all day while they worked. It was pretty darn cold in the house by the time they finished! I stayed in my office with a little electric space heater going all day.

  14. Now that MUST have been cold. It's supposedly a bit warmer here today but with the wind it sure doesn't fee like it. Your lunch sounds yummy. I like chicken fajitas or Pollo crema best.
I hope you got good news at the doctors.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
