We came out of the deep freeze to grey dirty snow. You wouldn't even want to make a snowman.
Far Guy had three appointments yesterday...all is well as can be expected. He saw a Cardiologist and a Pulmonologist. We went out for lupper at our favorite Mexican place here in East Grand Forks. Far Guy likes their tacos and I like the loaded nachos. We stayed out of the extremely cold weather for four days, ventured out for an afternoon on Tuesday and back in for Wednesday's sub zero temperatures.
How cold was it? Chickens would have lined up at the oven to bake:)

I've never heard that saying before, but it was appropriate!
ReplyDeleteCute snowmen. :)
Lolol...now That's cold!
ReplyDeleteLunch sounded Good! We love tacos...
hugs

We have almost survived this cold front down south but you will deal with it all winter. Hope Far Guy got a good report.
ReplyDeleteThat is a CUTE last line. I have 't ever heard that before. I can't imagine this kind of cold or having to get out in it. Glad his appointments went well and that yu all had the opportunity to eat some GOOD Mexican food. Keep Warm and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteI actually got out in the below below cold to do chores and was warm enough. Yesterday afternoon it was a heat wave! We got above zero for an air temp!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope all the appts go well and you stay warm.
Chickens lining up to bake - LOL!! It only got to about -14 here with wind - and we've had so much colder over the years. But we've had such a warm winter that this felt horrible. We woke this morning to a dusting of snow. We could sure use the snow that Houston and Florida got yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWow! that's cold. Is this real chickens or the human kind of chicken?
ReplyDeleteLol. I like that saying, I'll need to try to remember it.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here, too. Supposed to warm up this weekend. Even my sister in San Antonio had snow this past week.
ReplyDeleteWe are terribly cold here also. I'm ready for the polar vortex to move on
ReplyDeleteHA! yes, it was cold! We are warmer today, tomorrow back in the freezer and then a stretch of moderate temps.
ReplyDeleteThe bitter cold has finally broken here as the strong west wind is pushing the cold air further east.
ReplyDeleteStill very cold here too. We had HVAC guys here yesterday installing a Heat Pump and Hot Water Heater, so our furnace was off all day while they worked. It was pretty darn cold in the house by the time they finished! I stayed in my office with a little electric space heater going all day.
ReplyDeleteNow that MUST have been cold. It's supposedly a bit warmer here today but with the wind it sure doesn't fee like it. Your lunch sounds yummy. I like chicken fajitas or Pollo crema best.
ReplyDeleteI hope you got good news at the doctors.
Blessings,
Betsy
Glad you got thru all the appointments and enjoyed delish Mexican food too! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteIf you had to go out in the cold for appointments at least you got to have food you enjoyed!!
