Shiny Brite

Our daughter Jen set up a tree filled with Shiny Brites as a Christmas surprise. ( Her Christmas surprises always make me cry.) Jen is very thoughtful and always does everything to make us feel right at home during the Winter.

The tree sits out in the game playing area, where Far Guy woodcarves and I put together puzzles.  We enjoyed the tree every day.

It was so much fun to see all the special ornaments on a tree again...it has been awhile since they were on a tree and appreciated!

We undecorated the tree and put away the ornaments a few days ago...thanks Jen for one more Shiny Brite Christmas.  Hopefully is is the beginning of a Shiny Brite New Year:)

    1. LD....You know that I am into old ornaments. That is such a wonderful collection. We had friends over for a coffee, former missionaries, who were overwhelmed with our trees. Once we explained some of the ornaments and the adding of trees over the years they had a better appreciation and understanding how we have so many. I am going to start taking one tree down tomorrow.

  16. Glad that you got to enjoy the shiny Brite tree! I have a few trees up but I'm not going to take my shiny Brite and bubble lights tree down until probably the end of January. I see them only once a year so I want to enjoy them!
