The Woodland Sunflowers are in full bloom. It is so dry it is a miracle that anything is blooming.
Nice to see a spot of cheerful color!
We drove Up North to visit with Andy, Jen, Little Elvis and Sadie and have supper with Adam and his gal Courtney. Noah had to work. Any day you get to see a child, son in law, a Grand and dogs is a good day.
Far Side
Those flowers have blossomed here too and are quickly doing their thing and wilting.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great trip and got it done before all the holiday goers crowded the roads.
That sounds like a GREAT day!
ReplyDeleteYes, that definitely does sound like a good day. :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I'm glad you were able to see everyone. We'll be traveling with Brad, Mandy and Piper so we'll have lots of family time too. No dogs though. Both Lizzie and Zoey are staying with my sister.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Definitely a good day spent with family.
ReplyDeleteOur leaves are starting to change already, as it so dry out there. Though the farmers are happy to be harvesting, I do hope we see some moisture soon.
We are in severe drought with no end in sight. You did have a good day.
ReplyDeleteYes it is!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, I just saw a hand actupunture massager on HSN, thought of you and all crafters. Might help your pain? DEE
ReplyDeleteNice way to spend the Labor Day weekend! Mine are coming for Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about the visits with the kids. We got to see our grandsons and their mom, our younger daughter this week for supper. The week before we had lunch with our older daughter. It's truly a blessing.
ReplyDeleteWe hope to see our "kids" and at least one grand at the Phosie Gertie Picnic tomorrow. Since there was a big party in July we expect a small turnout this year.
ReplyDeleteI agree whole-heartedly with that last sentence.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good day ♥
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGoing visiting is a great thing to do.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great day. Wish you'd taken a pic of everybody together!
ReplyDeleteYes, getting to see family is priceless. Our kids are not coming this summer and I am a lot ticked about it. We might see them in November as their lives with three kids has gotten to be too busy. I can't drive to Chicago anymore.
ReplyDeleteMuch fun for all!
ReplyDeleteLovely!!! As summer ends, it's always great to have some bright color!
ReplyDeleteCheers to good days!!
