The leaves are beginning to change color.
Fall is most certainly here. It was quite chilly yesterday with a high of 60 F or 15 C eh.
I mulched leaves on Friday for the second time. The leaves are falling fast.
My other baby brother and she who sees robins first and their Grandson Jordan visited us yesterday.
Far Guy putzed with his old car Tilly, I am organizing paper for the Christmas cards and we now have 50 Christmas ornaments ready to paint. Progress is slow but sure.
Far Side
Fall is coming quickly.
ReplyDeleteNice to have family visits!
I'm working on Christmas cards and will be for quite a while yet. Feels good to likely be done early for once. ;)
I read that as "I Munched leaves..." LOL
ReplyDeleteKeep on going! Well done.
ReplyDeleteWe've had much cooler weather this week too but starting tomorrow will be back into the 80's. I'm still coughing a LOT and so decided not to go to church today. Poor Dennis. He doesn't like going alone. I don't think I'm contagious anymore, but no one listening to me would know it.
ReplyDeleteThis stuff hangs on and on and on.
It sounds like you're being very productive while I've just been sitting around.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
It's hard to believe we're less than 100 days away from Christmas. But the fall colors are a reminder winter is getting closer.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
I've not noticed much in the way of color yet in this area; but leaves have been falling before turning colors. I think the extreme temps may be responsible for that. Hopefully some of the leaves will turn and be pretty before falling. I've started the fall clean up of flower beds. It's a process, seems to take me longer each year. I have started digging up some plants to thin out, in hope of things being less next year. Fingers crossed. You're way ahead if you're already working on Christmas things, well done. Nice picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colors. We don't have a lot of color as most of the trees here are oaks but we get some. The weather here is nice now....what I call my summer! LOL! Yes, Christmas will be here before we know it.
ReplyDeleteLeaves are starting to change down here. It's in the 40s overnight but warms during the day. That's a lot of ornaments!
ReplyDeleteAfter a beautiful Saturday, we are cloudy and chilly today. Our leaves are mostly still green and on the trees. I'm watching Seahawks football from Detroit and reading blogs on my laptop. Unlike soccer, which is nonstop, football allows lots of time to not have to pay attention.
ReplyDeleteOur leaves have only just started to turn but the weather is definitely getting cooler where I live. Yesterday was so crisp and blue.
ReplyDeleteNice picture with the trees showing some Fall colour!
ReplyDeleteWe had hard frost 3 days in a row- I'm surprised my garden survived, maybe because it's all raised bed/ containers. Even the Gladiolus lived.
ReplyDeleteIt's later than we think.
ReplyDeleteI love the feeling of fall and the changing leaves, which are just starting here.
ReplyDeleteWe have had lovely fall temperatures this week, but Mother Nature was playing us. Up in the 80's this week, not nearly so pleasant. Our communities are also overrun with mosquitos, not a fun pairing.
ReplyDeleteThat is great fall color on the red tree. We have a ways to get there. I am sure the drought will change the colors.
ReplyDeleteYes there is some "color" out there ~ that colder weather is around the bend. Looking forward to the 2023 ornaments being unveiled!
