Yesterday Far Guy took me out to lupper ( lunch and supper all in one). We had a nice afternoon.
By afternoon the wildfire smoke rolled in.
Kathy's Maple tree is just beautiful! Although technically it may be Ruby's tree...but Kathy lives there now and Ruby died a number of years ago.
Thank you for all the birthday wishes I appreciate them!

Oh no! Not more smoke!
ReplyDeleteNice for hubby to take you out for Lupper.
The colors here are turning crazy beautiful.
Smoke has been here, too. We have had a little rain this morning so that should help some. Glad you had a nice birthday lupper. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning, looks like you had a delicious lupper, we were just there last weekend. I noticed Kathy's beautiful tree yesterday also! Fall has arrived.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous tree. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteLupper sounds lovely. Glad you had a nice birthday. That tree is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteWe had a terribly smokey day on Saturday. I was outside a lot at my grandson's flag football game and my nose and throat felt swollen. This morning it has been raining and the air feels and smells so nice and clean.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! The colours are just starting to change out here
ReplyDeleteDave and I used to do lupper quite a bit to avoid the restaurant crowds. Work was slow enough that I could sneak away for the afternoon - but not any more!
Lupper is the best! We do that too and beat the crowds. That tree is gorgeous. I haven't noticed and changes in the trees here yet but I'm sure it's coming soon.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
The fires have died down here. There are lots of fires but they are not active and roaring on to more territory. It's mostly hotspots. However these little fires are smoky.
ReplyDeleteI love that tree! We don't get tree colors like that here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tree!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful tree. Whoever it belongs to! Lupper was a good way to celebrate your birthday. The smoke is causing me problems and I imagine it is for you, too.
ReplyDeleteThe maple is gorgeous, whomever it belongs to. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice time with Far Guy.
A beautiful tree like that is even more beautiful when it has friends names in its history.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a good Lupper together. The tree is beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteThat Maple is gorgeous. I have yet to spot any tree as colourful here...so far anyway.
ReplyDeleteI am the same with naming trees. Doug's tree is just now starting to turn. The "guy with all the home schooled kids" maple tree is so big and it is turning to. The "guy with the white dog two blocks down" has a yellow tree that is getting really yellow. Our "two dog buddies" have a tree that is turning nicely. The one likes to lay under it and the french bulldog likes to roll on his back in the grass under it. Your Kathy/Ruby's is the best, better than we will ever have down here.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I hope get some color here before it all turns brown :-/.
