We went for a short trail ride.
It was a nice end to our busy day. We worked on Christmas woodcarvings and we now have 80 ready to paint. I mulched leaves in the neighborhood and along our road and the trails through the wild gardens. It was a very dusty job.
We got to watch the sunset.
This time of year the sun goes down really fast.
Far Side
We stopped mowing even the weeds because it is so dusty! I see a lot of colors in the leaves!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos
ReplyDeleteYou definitely had a lovely night for a ride. Beautiful sunset!
ReplyDeleteThose are such beautiful photos. It's back to hot and 90F today. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
What a lovely tranquil way to end the day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty sunset!
ReplyDeleteEvening rides/walks this time of year are almost magical.
ReplyDeleteI have also stopped mowing because of the dust. The sunset is really pretty, a pleasant end to a busy day.
ReplyDeleteLook up Robin and Linda Williams' bluegrass song October Light. Captures this time of year perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I would like to live in the woods! Lucky you
ReplyDeleteWow, it is looking very autumnal there. We are actually farther north. but with our Pacific influence, summer lingers here. We are still green.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset! I never see them here because of all the trees.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed the sun! I think I am happy to cocoon for winter, though.
ReplyDeleteSo dry and dusty--hope you wore a mask.
ReplyDeleteSunsets are fast but that was a beautiful one. :)
Shorter days already is a shock. I guess we just take the good days we have left for now. Get out and ride the trails as often as possible.
ReplyDeleteThe sun drops down quickly but there's more color.
ReplyDeleteI love your sunset pictures but I'm sad that the sun is disappearing so quickly every day.
ReplyDeleteOur trees have bright and beautiful color this Fall!
I love the idea of an evening trail ride. I rode horses at a riding stable as a preteen, trail rides were so much fun.
