Snowing sideways

Yesterday I went to town to see my Dad ( he was sound asleep) and my Mom.  I got to see my sister and my niece and her children. Mom and I went to lunch.  While doing errands it got colder and colder and began to snow.   By the time I was headed home it was snowing sideways.

No falling gently out of the sky snowflakes...you know the picturesque ones...just the brutal freeze your face off kind.

Yup--the sideways super cold stuff. Glad you got your visit in but wish you had made it home before it started.

By golly, that looks just plain cold and wicked.

I suspect this is going to be a long winter. We're expecting a warm up this weekend so I hope it heads your way soon.

We had gale force wind, too. No snow, though. How nice to go to lunch with your mom.

I hate to be outside in side-blowing snow. I'm glad you got home safely

How lovely that you could have lunch with your Mom and see other loved ones.

High winds here in Wisconsin too. No snow though.. Hopefully that will remain the status quo for a while. ( without the bitter windchill)

That sounds worse than bad! Time to get home and stay snug inside a warm and welcoming home. :-)

I'm glad you were able to see some of your family but sorry about the snow. We had sideways snow and cod, cold winds on Monday. It was really cold last night and today but tomorrow is supposed to be in the 40's. That will be very nice for a day or two.
Blessings,
Betsy

I'm glad you got to spend time with your mom. I'm sure she needs that family time more than ever.
After a week of snow on the ground from repeated snow showers, I think we'll be seeing the end of it soon. Then cold, dreary rain.
