Towels and a Bucket

Years ago our kids carried around diaper bags and blankets.  Now they have Sadie and carry towels and Sadies's bucket.

Sadie loves the water.

Sadie swam on Sunday and again on Monday just before she left.

Sadie had an adventurous  weekend... a ride in Tilly where she hung her head out the window, chewing her lead in two in a patio dining area...marveling at the amount of sticks in our yard...chasing leaves...and enjoying her first taste of acorns...the look of surprise when an acorn fell out of a tree and bounced in front of her...and swimming!

Soon it was time for her to go...with her eye on her people she has no time for goodbyes.

By the sound of it, Sadie had a very good weekend. Lots of new adventures and fun at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Are you going to stay with Sadie and her parents again this winter?
Blessings,
Betsy

Fun post! I’m guessing Sadie gets excited when her bucket starts moving towards the vehicle.

I am glad the kids and the dog got to come for a visit. Dogs discovering things are so fun to see. It is so fun to be around an young dog. I remember when our young border collie decided to tear up his brand new cushion in his crate. He also ate through the leash so often. It made me smile to hear about you grand
dog.

Grand dogs seem to be almost as much fun as grand kids! And they all go home eventually!

One winter I did obedience with an old collie I had and I used a five gallon bucket for his show stuff and marveled at how much easier that was than a horse trailer and truck full of show supplies :-).

Sadie must feel like she is at summer camp when she visits you. So much fun! Good entertainment for the grownups, too.
