A reach

The tomatoes are still producing.  The plants are looking worse for wear but they are still reaching upward.

Yes I have to use that ladder sometimes.

That is one tall plant. My friends tomato plants have been really producing this year.

Our little cherry tomatoes are nearing their end, as well! It was the only veggie success I had. I have great plans next year!

Wow! Look at that! Our tomatoes are really doing well too. Hubby says I planted them in the wrong spot, but gosh they are producing!

Love the fencing.

I wouldn't want to be sleeping at the base of that tomato plant should it decide to topple over!

Savoring my September Tomatoes, too!

That is an impressive tomato plant, even as it begins to look like fall. Nothing quite so good as a fresh tomato.

Wow, that's huge! My tomato plants are looking scraggly but the fruit is still ripening. We may have frost by the weekend so I think I'll harvest today regardless. The tomatoes can ripen in the house.

Enjoy the fruits of your labour.

It looks like your tomatoes loved that spot this year, Connie! I'm glad you found it and got such a good crop this year. ~Andrea xoxo

mine look about the same, and I'm bringing in a handful of cherry tomatoes every day. I'm going to pull them up soon though I think. I'm probably going to start laying out where the permanent veg beds will do, and these are in the way.

Amazing! I didn't grow much but I can't eat it anyway so it doesn't matter. I tried to give to may neighbor but she doesn't want it. People here eat out a lot!

I have never seen a tomato plant that tall!

My tomatoes have actually done nothing. I think the triple-digit temps are the reason. Sigh

no tomatoes for me this year. For obvious reasons. I do so miss them though.

That is one tall tomato! Enjoy. With all the rain we got this past week where I live in New York, I'm not sure how much longer we'll be getting tomatoes, alas.

I can remember my dad growing tomatoes as tall as he could make them go... trying to get them to go taller every year. He liked to grow tall sunflowers, too. I bet my poor stepmom had a heart attack each time dad climbed his wooden ladder. Ha! You be careful up there, Connie!!

My one cherry tomato plant is producing like gangbusters. I've been taking Mom a quart bag full to her apartment every night. She eats them all!
