Happy Fall Y'All

I like the first part of Fall...the break from the humidity of the Summer and cooler temperatures.  However...the furnace went on yesterday morning ...I also need socks with my crocs more often.

Far Guy is working on the woodcarvings for the Christmas Ornaments.

I have been working on Christmas Cards and my Costa Nova afghan.  I have started watching Manifest on Netflix.

I took the summer stuff off the wreath outside the door...so it is naked.

Grocery pickup was uneventful yesterday.  Less people in town now...many of the tourists have left the area. Places to eat are closing one by one.   Some are only open certain days of the week.   Sign of the times I guess.

Happy first full day of Fall!

What do visitors do in your area? What is the attraction?

You can certainly tell Fall is in the air. Leaves falling and cooler temps. My furnace would have turned on last night except i still have it set on AC. I am loving the cooler less humid temps.

So glad we have seasons. Life would be so boring if each day was the same. Galla Creek

It's 53 and raining. I'm happy with that! I don't need heat on yet. I'll probably light a fire in the fireplace with the fan to warm up that room this evening. We need the rain down here, the TC is 7" below average.

It is cool here this morning too, but I have the windows open a bit anyway. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid-80's again so I'm enjoying the cool.
I wish it could just stay like this all year long. Perfect sleeping weather too. I know it's just wishful thinking, but there it it! :-)
Have a wonderful Friday and I hope you're feeling better now.
Blessings,
Betsy

I do enjoy the seasonal change in the fall. Today is the 3rd morning we've had morning temps in the 30s and 40s. I love it.

I love fall too! And yes, I've heard some of our restaurants have limited hours now too. I heard our Long John Silvers is only open Thursday thru Sunday now, from 3pm-7pm. Crazy! ~Andrea xoxo

The cold front that came through where I live last night was a shock to the system. Today, windy, overcast for part of the day, and high in the low 50's. I'm with you - the first part of fall yes, the second, no. Now I just have to get used to it.

I've had to turn the furnace on the last couple of mornings, but I usually just let it run through one cycle to take the chill off. I have been wearing socks though...yuk!

The oak leaves are beautiful!

As I'm trying not to hobble too much after yesterday's hike left my quads almost unable to be touched without pain. I was able to do most of my yoga class, though. Glad to hear FG is well enough to be doing stuff. :-)

Oh what a beautiful leaf picture! Sounds like you're both getting busy with fall projects. I'm glad you're feeling better. We have a new furnace ordered but haven't heard when it's supposed to arrive. Rather worrying.
