Sunliner and visits

I think you have to have a little strappy sundress, huge sunglasses and a scarf that flaps in the wind in order to drive this convertible.

Ford Sunliner most likely a 1956...back when a car was a car.

Friday I saw my Dermatologist for my whole body exam...all clear for another year!

I had a rough night after my third booster...finally got up and put ice on my arm.  Far Guy is headachy and feeling tired.  Seems like I am always tired and I joined him with the headache.

Our oldest daughter Trica brought her beau for a visit Friday afternoon.  Good to see her and to meet her beau.  Also met their dogs Chase and Lexi ( Golden Labs) who had a fun time racing around the yard.

I can so see the strappy sundress, oversized sunglasses, and a head scarf for this ride!
Cars were surely something in this era.

Hope this shot doesn't affect you guys too badly. Looking for ours on Monday.

I'm not eligible until the first of the year thanks to my recent bout with covid. By then it will be miserable outside so I won't feel so bad about feeling bad.

I have that same vision in my head now! Or a poodle skirt and bobby socks. And the guy has to be wearing a letterman's jacket.

Hopefully you'll feel much better in another day.

Oh darn, I'm sorry you're having another reaction. Hope you are over the effects soon.

That is some car!

Oh yes, you nailed the image of the sundress, scarf and sunglasses. It’s fun to see the cars you spotted at the car show.

A new beau and two new dogs to meet. That is a good thing. He is a dog person, can't go wrong with that.

Love the color. Sort of salmon. Why was the paint so much better then?

What a beautiful color on that classic car. Your recommended driving outfit would be perfect. I hope you feel better soon; I'm planning to get my booster the end of this month - trying to time it vs. the flu shot, which I still need to receive.

Thanks for the memory, loved riding in convertibles many moons ago. I will be going to my dermatologist this coming week!
Hope you both feel better soon.
Thanks for visiting and for your sweet comment.
Blessings,
Sue

Even after almost a week, my arm is still sore to the touch. Much better, but still not 100%, but here's hoping yours will get better and better, day by day. Love that convertible.

You are so right about the look needed to drive that car. Cars were big and heavy looking back in those days. Hope you and far Guy are feeling better. I got both vaccines but no booster yet. Just can't decide what to do.

I don't think they sold Sunliners in Canada.

That Sunliner is a beauty. I've never heard of that kind of car before. Glad you got to see your daughter and her beau and visit with their goldens too. A fun time for you guys for sure.

That is a great photo!
We're getting the bivalent later this month. We can't be too safe!
