Jen gave me an online drawing class for my birthday last Fall….I am finally getting around to it!
I love to doodle so this is the perfect class for me. I can stay home and draw to my hearts content.
Whimsical packages
I am learning more in the online class than I ever did in High School Art Class. This instructor uses pencils or sharpies. She also likes to copy and print out her designs to color. I had some old drawing pencils but she suggested a special eraser. Who knew a kneaded eraser could be such a wonderful tool!
Far Side
That sounds like a perfect class for you — making your own designs and coloring them. I think i would enjoy it, too, as i love sketching.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful birthday present; especially since you love to sketch.
ReplyDeleteHow nice! I think I might check out an online drawing class. It might be fun. I used to draw a little but it's been a long, long time. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I can just picture that doodle colored, size adjusted on a printer, and made into birthday cards! What a perfect present for you. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteDoing a catch up on my blog reading... belated happy birthday to Gene.... nice school photo of him and glad he is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteYour hat/scarf is kinda cool! I can see it becoming a necessity with the winter weather you have been getting! Would stay in place so much better than a toque. They always tend to slide up above the ears!
The drawing class looks like it is going to be fun- and productive.
What a great gift for you! Have fun.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do some online classes, but we don't have the internet here to do that and just work off expensive air cards :-(. I'll have to look up a kneaded eraser.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome gift idea! I have used kneaded erasers back when I was drawing a lot and they are amazing.
ReplyDeleteOnce more your amazing talent is outstanding
ReplyDeleteHave fun, i was not gifted with drawing, but have several grandchildren who are excellent.
ReplyDeleteSue
That sounds like fun and perfect for you. You can draw and copy your card designs!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest daughter can draw and so can her son, I cannot
ReplyDeleteThat was a terrific and thoughtful gift to you. Glad you are enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect way to have fun while waiting for Spring!!
ReplyDeleteA great gift! Perfect for you for passing the winter days.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun. I haven't drawn or painted for a long time. Just started doodling with a No. 3 Micron graphic marker a few days ago. I'm beginning to get warmed up, ready to draw and paint again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand present!
ReplyDeleteNow, do you have a set time, is it real time, or do you just check in periodically?
What a great class! Looks like you've learned a lot already.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift and you never have to leave the comfort of your home! Did you draw that pile of packages? Amazing! You are very good! Have fun!
