We had rain this week for two days and then some appreciated sunshine.
Far Guy has been carving outside, yesterday I joined him, it was nice to sit in the sunshine.
Chance is still a bit miffed about his trip to the groomer.
Last night after supper we went for a ride, saw a nice sized Hawk that was hunting, it was fun to watch him dip and weave searching for his next meal.
We ran onto the gopher trappers.
My nephew Josh and his children Lumbermason and Anna.
It wasn’t too long and my other baby brother and she who sees robins first drove by …so we had a family reunion in the middle of the road.
That's an unusual name (Lumbermason). Nice to see the sun around here, too. I hope we have more today. :-)

DeleteThis world needs more gopher trappers (our ditches are full of the little beasts) - do they still have a bounty on the buggers?
ReplyDeleteOne township in Becker County has a bounty of $5 each:) I think ours is $2 or so :(

ReplyDeleteAh! The gopher state. They really can destroy the land with their mounds and big tunnels. I didn't know they had a bounty on them, though.

Impromptu family reunions are great! A beautiful Spring day yesterday here, but rain coming again. Getting some seeds in this morning. At least I won't have to worry about watering them.

Everyone was tired of all of the rain, so getting out was a good idea. It is good to see all the family and then you get to go home.

ReplyDeleteChance is looking mighty spiffy and even more handsome. Guess you never know who you'll run into while out for a drive. Larry's loon cam went live this afternoon. Already at least one swim-by so hopefully we'll have a pair nesting this year. I think that's how I found your blog all those years ago - either from Larry's blog or the loon chat room. It's been a wonderful journey following you.

ReplyDeleteYour life style is so different from mine, and reading about it makes me smile. It's much more like my life was when I was a child growing up on a small farm in Oregon.
