Chance: Still Handsome and Smart too!

My turn!  Just wanted to assure you that I am handsome as ever and going for longer walks every day now that the weather is nicer.  I lead the old folks around and then show them the way back home again.  No one is getting lost on my watch!

Watching for other dogs

Here I am standing in the road watching for other people that walk their dogs in the evening.  We sniff and pee and repeat as necessary.  The old folks visit with other old folks or wave at them as they drive by.

Bored

I get bored waiting….sometimes the anticipation just makes you sleepy.

Someone won’t say who made an appointment for me at the G R O O M E R S…she spelled it, but I am pretty sure that I have a good idea what is up.  And there was mention of  a   V E T  V I S I T, I already took the tick stuff and the heartworm stuff.   Yes the ticks are out and so are the skeeters.

What

Who me?  I guess I must be on someones list.  I guess I will forgive her.  She came through the other day.  She needed to go to the bank, but didn’t stop at the Drive Up Teller that can see if there is a dog in the car instead she had to go inside…oh no…they will never see me now….no treat for me …and I have drooled all over the seat too in preparation for that yummy treat. It musta been my lucky day or else those bank gals knew I was in the car and starving to death…so they gave her a treat to bring to me!!!

Hiya Chance! You sure are one handsome fella. Sounds like the bank gals have your back with the treats even if you have to wait in the car. Happy Easter to you and "the old folks"!

Poor chance - the groomers is no more popular here with Mamie, who even hides under the table when she sees her brush.

Hi Chance, you just get better looking every day. I am so glad you help the old folks. Wish I had a pal like you to watch after me. Watch out for those nasty ticks and skeeters; we don't need you getting sick. And you aren't the only one who needs to go to the groomers. I desperately need to get my "locks" shorn. Those gals at the bank sure are smart and remembered that you probably were in the car waiting for your treat.

You are definitely the smartest and best looking dog I have ever seen, Chance. Glad to know you're on duty and making sure your old folks don't get lost. :-)

A bank that gives dog treats?! Do you have other fans all over town? It wouldn't surprise me.

Our new bank doesn't give treats in the drive thru. Another strike against them. Tilly and I miss the old bank :-(.

You are handsome and smart too! We like intelligence and good looks in our male friends! LOL! My hips are starting to make it hard to get up very fast and especially if I've been laying down for awhile. We used to go for walks but the concrete is hard on all of our joints so it's better if we just walk around the yard. Mom does stretching exercises in the morning when she gets up. She said she learned to stretch from watching us when we first get up but truth be told, we don't do the things she does! Crazy lady! We had the roofers here and they were nice otherwise no one pays any attention to us....I think I scare them away but the UPS man really likes me and Annie too. We live in a neighborhood but we might as well live in the middle of no where! LOL! Take care of those old folks....we have to watch Mom too....some days it's more then the 4 of us can handle! LOL! Happy Easter! Nitty, Annie, Grace and Miss Peeps (oh, and did Miss Peeps ever get in trouble the other day and twice! I'll tell you about it later)
