Babies

We finally got to meet the new babies.  They live up North and belong to very good friends of Jen and Andy.

Twins…when we found out that they were expecting twins I was hoping for two girls… but one of each is just perfect.

I was excited to meet them and their Mom said I could hold them as long as I wanted…I think she is over the new baby is all mine thing. They are just about eight weeks old.

Landon

Of course the boy child has oodles of hair…he slept the whole time we were there but we held him anyway.

The girl child was just as sweet as can be.  She is the patient one.

Perfect..they are just perfect! It will be fun to watch them grow up!

You are so, so lucky to have two babies to watch grow up. It has been a long time since our family has had any babies.

Oh, how sweet! Poor Mama is probably happy to have some extra cuddling arms available. I remember how exhausting my twin grands were (still are!), but so rewarding.

Beautiful babies! He sure does have a lot of hair and already looks like a boy. She does look patient, doesn't she? :-)

Such beautiful babies! Wouldn't you know the boy would get all the hair? The little girl sure looks feminine. Both are just darling and I can see how you would want to hold them a long time. Yes the mother literally has her hands full and probably welcomed a little respite. One baby takes a lot of energy from the parents and I can't imagine having two little babies at once. Those parents are heroes!

They are so cute. We have twins across the street from us a boy and a girl. I have seen them only once and didn't get to hold them.

Oh they are cute. The boy looks very similar to mine at that age, he had lots of hair also. I always thought that a boy and a girl twins was the best 'kind' of twins:)

I just had an encounter with parts of four sets of twins in high school yesterday. They tend to hang together with others like they have a club. They were complaining to me that they always have to share birthdays, cakes and now cars. Daniel and Stephanie, Kara and Kelsey, Riley and Will, and two other girls that I can't remember their first names, the Hatton twins. It was just out of the blue that I was in the same room at the same time with five of the 8 of them. Your twin shots are so great. That will be fun to watch them grow up.

That sweet baby's face caught my eye. The twins are so cute! That is the perfect age to sit in a rocking chair with all day!

There is nothing sweeter than a baby, unless it's two!

How precious are they? Oh, how I love to hold babies and smell that sweet baby smell...well, usually it's sweet if they've been changed recently. Lucky you!
