No sunshine yesterday. It was cloudy, cool and rainy all day long. We left early for parts unknown. Found some new to us antique shops. I bought another frog, some old photos and some more dice for my dice collection. Far Guy bought toys; one train car and a car. Oh and lunch in a brand new Sports Bar in Osakis.
Later Chance played ball in a church yard.
I admired a church near the Belle River.
Finally found a bit of sunshine in a wash tub near Parkers Prairie and another antique shop.
I think we both may have a bit of cabin fever already and it is only October:(
Sunshine yellow flowers. How can it be cabin fever? You must be missing the museum! :-)
ReplyDeleteI had to get on the maps to see where these places existed. It had to have been a fun day when you come home with treasures. Chance probably thought you were lost out there going to all the small towns.
ReplyDeleteNo sunshine here yesterday either: 8 inches of snow instead. I have Cabin Fever, and it's only October 5th!
ReplyDeleteLove that church photo
I love that you two go out and about. And I'm glad you included that bright bouquet in your header. It allmost makes up for the lack of sunshine!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos ! It is gloomy here today and will be tomorrow . I need the sunshine or I feel UGH ! Thanks for sharing . Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteAw. *hugs* ♥ Thanks for sharing, Connie.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you get out and poke around at things that interest you. You will be getting sunshine in a day or two. I'm sending it. Here it was sunny and warm.
ReplyDeleteSunny one day here, raining the next. It's always fun to go for a drive and see new things:)
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you could fine a new place to purchase old photos. Pretty fall flowers and Chance is handsome, as always. We are finally feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteHope you both rest well.
I hear you, but you know, we need to teach ourselves to look at the cold landscape a little differently...it's not barren twigs, it's a frame work for the sky...it's not white on white, it's diamonds and sparkles. There is texture in a winter world, we just need to look closer.

Whew! It's a good thing I don't suffer from cabin fever. ;)
ReplyDeleteChance looks like he had a great time.
Fun!!! Terry and I are wanting to take a short three day trip soon. We are already dreading winter. So we need to do something fun before we are socked in.

What great shots! Hope you get a bit of sunshine before winter sets in. It's turned mild and sunny here - almost like summer!
