The little Butter Butts ( Yellow-rumped Warblers) are here another sure sign of Spring. They brought lots of their friends.
Pretty little things with their splashes of yellow...yes they have yellow butts too.
They prefer the black sunflower seeds.
Yesterday was Far Guy's infusion day. I dropped him off and ran errands, Walmart pick up twice because they forgot my bag with the butter and cheese...they called me when I was at the bank. So Far Guy had to wait for me in the car while I went to the meat market, grocery store for fresh fruit and the pharmacy.
So much for the excitement yesterday.

That is a new bird to me. Great name! I picked up a grocery order, yesterday, too. I hope FG is starting to feel better.
If you were at home you'd probably be napping and that's not too exciting.
I have been seeing more variety in bird species at the feeders, but this time of year those pesky blackbirds chase them off. We switch to straight safflower for awhile as the blackbirds don't seem to like it.
Such sweet little birds. I like errand days that are boring. I have to go to the grocery store today. It's one of my least favorite chores. I'm going to see if I can talk Dennis into going for me. He actually likes grocery shopping if I give him a detailed list.

Others have mentioned seeing returning Warblers at nearby Mill Lake but so far I have not been so lucky.

I'd be exhausted after all that! At least they caught you before you went home about the butter and cheese. I hope Far Guy is feeling better and you too.
