We will miss seeing the Grandboys. They came over for supper last night to say goodbye...their Mom made a great supper; chicken, spaetzle, salad, stuffed mushrooms and popovers. The boys both enjoyed the home cooked meal!
Noah
They both made a trip upstairs to see their parents new closet...that used to be Adam's computer room.
Adam
I caught them on the way down for a photo!
Far Side
It will be quiet in the country back in the woods. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's good that the adult kids can be independent, but still enjoy coming over for a good home cooked meal and to spend some quality time visiting.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the grandsons. Hard to believe they are out on their own.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll be happy to be home, but you will miss the family being so close by. Sadie and Elvis will miss you too.
ReplyDeleteTravel home safely!!!
ReplyDeleteKind of bittersweet I would think. Have a safe trip home.
ReplyDeleteGoing to be pretty quiet back home without all those visitors coming by so often.
ReplyDeleteHome again, home again, jiggety-jog! No place like home.
ReplyDeleteNice that you got to see them and they got to enjoy a great meal too.
ReplyDeleteSo handsome! I'm glad you got one last visit before moving home.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the info on how the awesome angel was assembled. Hope the move back home goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteI hope you traveled safely with no snow on your way. I know it's all around you! It will be so good for you to be home, close to your brothers and your Mom, but I know you'll miss your "other" home and the doggies will definitely be missing you both.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs as you settle back in.
Betsy
Your dinner sounds delicious and how nice that the grandsons came over to wish you a good trip back home. Hope you travel safely back home and that Spring comes before you know it! Well.....we can dream anyway!
ReplyDeleteWhat handsome kids!
ReplyDeleteA fun time around the table with the grown up boys. The have changed a lot and yet I can recognized them.
