Catch Up

Sunday was catch up time with crafting friends that live just 20 miles away.  Debbie fixed a very nice lunch and her craft room is just perfect to work in.  Debbie is Sarah's Mom and I met Sarah about 12 years ago she is one of Jen's crafty friends.  We have been on many Craft Retreats together.

I took along stamped cards to watercolor.  We all worked on cards in some shape or form.

It was a good outing!   I have not been watercoloring at all this winter so that was a good activity for me to do.

Sounds like we are in for another wintery week.  On the main highway out of town there are 6 foot high snow drifts from the wind last week.

  4. Your cards are beautiful and I'm sure the people who receive them feel blessed. What creativity.

Sorry about your winter weather. It shouldn't last too much longer if that's any comfort.

  8. You make the most beautiful cards! And that definitely sounds like a fun get-together. I miss my quilting friends that I used to sew with fairly often. One by one they've moved away. My remaining friends here aren't much interested in joint crafting/sewing days. We play cards instead.

  10. Imagine how boring winter would be if you didn't have your crafts to work on!
The painted flower cards are pretty.

  11. Wow! We are looking at warmer temps today and the snow is disappearing from all but the north hillsides.

I'm going to rake up some pine cones today!

  12. Your cards are beautiful, and the many people who receive then are fortunate indeed.
I guess your weather missed the notice that spring started today?

  13. Wonderful watercolors! I have always liked the way water colors look, but have never been able to pull them off the way the professionals do it. ( I still paint like Bob Ross.) temps climbed to 50 today. most of the snow is gone. I'm ready for spring Mushrooms!

  16. We had a big storm last week too, but between yesterday and today, it all melted. We even had the balcony door wide open all day. Zoey laid in her doggie bed in the sunhine outside all afternoon. She loved it.
Your cards look great. You have so many talents.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  18. You did get a lot of them done. Projects with time limits can get done when you do that kind of activity.
