Family time

The cold weather makes for dry skin.

Little kids and lotion...they got their hands full of lotion and helped out Uncle Andy.

Maddie and Brenton and the kids brought over pizza and we had some good family time last evening.

We also met Adam's girlfriend...since I just met her I didn't get out my camera ...didn't want to scare her off!  She is cute and blonde and the same age as Adam...they have quite a few things in common.

Far Guys new infusion nurses did a number on his arm...one stick but afterward he bled just under his skin.  He already misses his infusion nurses back home.

It looks awful.

Good heavens! That arm looks terrible!!! I got a package late last night, opened it to find a wonderful gift from you (intact). Thank you so much, and I'll take pictures and blog about it. :-)

That DOES look awful. So sorry.

Does Maddie's family live close by? Those kids are at a great age for everyone to enjoy. They love when adults have time to play with them.
Poor Far Guy. That gets sore for a few days, too. The nurse who did a blood draw for my annual check to measure the level of my tick allergy did that to me, also. Funny thing is it didn't hurt - - seemed to be a good draw - - - but she also didn't put pressure on at the end - -just a bandaid. Far Guy will have that decoration almost till Christmas.

Yikes. I was complaining when I had blood taken last week and I ended up with a bruise! But I've certainly got nothing on that!!!

Oh my that is a nasty bruise! Hopefully those infusion nurses will improve their skills before he has to do this again.

So glad you are getting to enjoy some family time with those cute kids.

Oh my, that looks painful. I know it probably isn't that sore but it looks ugly. Hopefully the new infusion nurses learn quickly.

How nice to have a visit with kids. I was thinking I'd not be as compliant as Andy, but then I thought of my Eli and realized, yes, yes I would. :)

Oh, poor FarGuy!!! Awk!!!
Love the pic with the kiddies applying lotion--lol!
If Andy and his sweetie stay together you can probably get a photo later on. ;)

Yikes! He could always say he had a battle with someone and he won...

Hopefully the nurses get with the program.

That looks like a nasty bruise. I hope he has a better nurse poking him the next time!

Ouch, that arm looks like it’s painful. Not all stickers are equal.

Yes sticking your camera in her face can wait until your second meeting. The kids are cute helping with the lotion. I didn't know they were now in the area. My diabetic monitor isn't as bad as the attack on his arm but I am bruised from my insertion of it. I change it every ten days and have to keep moving it around to an area that isn't black and blue. My condition makes my healing to be so slow.

Family time is so fun....how great that you all were together for a pizza party. the kids are so cute. I can't believe what they did to far guy's arm.....it looks like one of those humongous tattoos like the modern day football or basketball players have! OUCH. Hope it doesn't take them the whole winter to figure out how to do it right!

That mess shouldn't happen to anybody's arm.

I sure hope the infusion nurses can do a better job than that! Poor Guy.

Glad to see that Andy is getting a facial! LOL! I had a few arms that looked like that when I was in the hospital too. It takes forever for them to go away too!
