Hope

We have the hope of Spring when the snow begins to melt.  Then it turns cold and snows and our hopes are dashed.

Rivers are rising, towns are flooding so Spring must be somewhere.   Just not here.

Sure hope Spring arrives soon for you. We have more rain on the way. So looking forward to warm sunny days.

When spring is late I always think that we’ll go from cold to hot. I do hope you have some spring.

I heard that your area and areas north of me have had flooding and a lot of rain/snow. We are slowly gaining some moisture and could use more. I know it must be frustrating to see that snow right now.
Things look soggy there!

Not here either, though the snow has finally melted. But tonight will be in the mid 20s. We're hoping stuff that had budded out over our 80 degree weekend won't freeze during the next few nights of below freezing. Sigh.

Same here - except for the snow and flooding. We get a day of spring, then winter cold returns again.

Hope you get Spring soon. Though preferably without flooding.

We're getting warmer temps this week, quite a bit below normal but at least it's above freezing during the day. It's very windy here so hopefully it will below your way.

I know! It's been so back and forth--from nearly 70 to mid 20s! But they are predicting it could be in the 40s this week. I'll believe it when I see it--lol! :)

I finally noticed the trees budding when we took Zoey to Mandy's last night. Spring may finally be coming here too although the furnace is running full blast this morning.
Blessings,
Betsy

Spring will find you, eventually! Hang in there. Be kind to yourself. Do something you love. I know it is very hard to think positive when grieving, and everyone else is posting cheery photos of flowers etc... Sending uplifting thoughts & {{hugs}}

That isn't June but yes she is melting a bit too.

The northern section of Wyoming received 16+ inches of snow last weekend. I glad it skipped this area.

It does seem like spring is much later this year than usual. I just hope we don't go from winter to summer and miss out on spring!

Well, you can see the ground again now. I'm hoping for you too.

I am glad there is no water issues there just snow which turns into mush

One really has to be patient with this spring. It's taking a long time to get here.

I guess we live in hope. This past weekend it was 80 degrees here (I hear anyway, I spent the weekend between my bed and bathroom with a bug). People who forgot where we live even bought flowers. It was a straight drop down to 40 as soon as the school buses left Monday - which meant some scary storms - and now they are forecasting frost for the next several days. Our official frost free date is May 15/Mother's Day, but my gramma who knew all things always waited until Memorial Day to plant any annuals or hang any baskets.

I'm sorry to hear about Far guy's sister. I remember the song she loved from my childhood. Our lilacs are blooming. Yours can't be far behind. Our spring has been slow in coming but it is here...even if it is supposed to freeze.tonight..

It is tough when the weather just doesn't want to be normal.

I'm so sorry you aren't having Spring weather yet. It will come...eventually.....my little lilac bush that I planted last year is blooming! Your blooms will be popping up before you know it as long as they aren't buried under June!
