Keeping on

The Christmas Greetings keep on coming in the mail!  Kansas and Minnesota!

It is always great to get something in the mail!

We are having quiet days.  Far Guy is coming off the steroids so he is catching up on some of the sleep he lost over the past few weeks....Elvis and I supervise the nap time.   It is a rough job but Elvis and I make a great team!

Our neighbor Steve had a heart attack last week and will undergo open heart surgery on Friday, please pray for a full recovery and maybe an extra prayer for his wife Jo as they head down this road together.  They live just down the road from us and we have known them for years, they have three beautiful daughters and have had many dogs...Hooch, Odda, Putz and Titus most recently.  They are good people and good friends.

I do hope Steve will have a complete recovery. I recognize the name of many of their dogs from your own blog entries.

Wishing your neighbour Steve, a successful surgery and a good recovery. I'm sure Jo will appreciate the support of friends and neighbours through this journey.

Take care.

Prayers for your neighbors - and for you and your husband. Hope he catches up on that sleep. Steroids seem to have so many weird side effects.

I'm sure you and Little Elvis are the BEST supervisors ever and I know Far Guy appreciates you both.
I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor and will definitely be praying for both Steve and Jo.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

Thank you Far Side and Far Guy ~ our family is navigating the process of waiting and will navigate the new path before us. Thank you for the prayers!

Sorry to hear about the neighbor. It is good he survived the attack and that they can make repairs. We are waiting for nine inches of snow to arrive.

Hope Steve is doing ok, Tim took all our Christmas cards down and tossed them, why, because it is January.............

I do pray Steve will heal well. I remember when Jo used to do a blog for a while years ago. She also does beautiful handwork - - I am thinking sewing - - maybe quilts?
Glad Far Guy is able to sleep. Hope he continues to improve so he can enjoy some normal again in his days.

Sending healing wishes for Far Guy & your neighbor Steve, and a {hug} for you. It is hard watching people you care about struggle with their precious health.

I agree, it is great to get something personal in the mail! It's one of the things I love about Christmas.
Good job taking care of FG, you and little Elvis.
Hoping your neighbor's surgery goes well and he has loved ones to take care of him. Open heart surgery is scary.

So sorry about your neighbour. I've been having panic attacks that feel like heart attacks. Crazy times.

Snail mail is always such a treat--and you make the most beautiful cards with yours. :)
