Back in 2004 Adam was three years old. We all met up at Itasca State Park and had cake…Bob the Builder was his favorite back then. Adam is our youngest Grandchild. For a long time we called him “Baby Adam.”
2004 Grandpa and Adam
Yesterday we drove up North to say Happy Birthday in person! We all went out for supper at a place called Texas Roadhouse.
Grandpa and Adam 2017.
The food was good and the company was even better.
Adam takes his drivers test next week. He said the driving instructor had him parallel park about 12 times so “I should be good Grandma!”
Happy Birthday Adam…these years roll around faster and faster soon you will be all grown up! ( It is hard for this Grandma to see baby Adam almost all growed up.)
This is the photo that I put on his birthday card, with a little money, some to save and some to spend…all I got out was “some to”…and he finished that last part for me…after 16 years he knows his Grandparents quite well.
Fine looking young man!
ReplyDeleteAdam is a very handsome young man. A Happy Birthday to Adam.
ReplyDeleteHow quickly they grow up. Baby Adam has grown into a fine young man. And I laughed that he can finish your sentences for you! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Adam! Very nice picture of him & Far Guy.
ReplyDeleteThe two photos of Adam and Far Guy are priceless! I loved this post.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet post!! Happy birthday to Baby Adam, who isn't a baby anymore. (Always will be to you, though.)
ReplyDeleteOh my. That 3 year old blondie look like my 2nd sons twin at that age. His hair turned dark as well...:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful post. Happy birthday, Adam.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Adam. It is hard to believe he is 16 now. Him being your youngest grandchild also is amazing. From all I have seen and heard of him on your blog, he is going to turn in to a wonderful young man.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Adam! I see the resemblance to 'Blake' ;-) Good luck in all that the future brings for you!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Adam! So...did y'all get out in the aisle and do line dancing with the wait staff? Or don't the Texas Roadhouse folks engage in that kind of behavior up in Minnesota?
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Adam. It seems kids grow up quickly and we get old just as quick.
ReplyDeleteOur babies do grow up too quickly. But watching it happen is such a privilege.
ReplyDeleteYour grandson, Adam, is a handsome young man and grandchildren do grow up fast, but then we are not getting older...isn't that right? Our grandson will be 11 this year and we can remember being their for his birth in CA.
ReplyDeleteAdorable little guy and handsome big guy! Happy birthday, Adam.
