Far Guy and I always joking during our afternoon drives..will today be the day we see a bear..or a moose and will I get the photo?
Often when we are driving one of us will see something and ask the other if they saw it too?
One day..I said “Did you see that bear?” He replied.. “NO, I missed it..let’s go back!”
Someone with a sick sense of humor..must have been laughing at all the traffic that turned around for a second look. He even mowed and removed some brush..
Things are not always as we see them..I did see a bear..or not.
Not a real bear… I have only seen bear twice in Minnesota..they are impressive creatures. A few years ago one came in and emptied all our bird feeders and stole one of the feeders in the middle of the night. We had to take our bird feeders in a night for awhile..he/she did not return..at least not that we know of:)
Oh, that really looks like a real bear!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a bear. Are you saying it was stuffed? :-)
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a bear to me. I have never encountered a bear during my walks in the woods and sure hope I never do. I bet the bear could climb the tree faster than this old lady could!
ReplyDeleteMorning......to funny.....We see the same cut out bear and moose someone puts out in the bush on our way to Theif River, always look out for them........Some people.......Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a bear to me.
ReplyDeleteHeehee we have someone over in York that did the same thing with a bear and 2 cubs on a hillside. I like that this person even mowed!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a bear to me, but it can stay right there. We have more then enough of them here.
ReplyDeleteJen
I wonder how many bullet holes it has in it?
ReplyDeleteLOL - I think I'll get a bear for my pasture! That would cause some excitement!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter saw a big black bear when they were on vacation in the Poconos. Her two year old wanted to pet the "teddy."
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a principal, we once had to do a lock down because a brown bear was seen roaming the streets -- the town was near the Jersey Pine Barrens. They finally captured it and returned it to the woods.
Peace,
Muff
I had a run in with a black bear when I was camping years ago ! Looks like a bear to me to in your photo. Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks real!
ReplyDeleteGreat story!
ReplyDeleteSicko........ You'll know if one ever comes around the house, I'm betting Chance will bark a bark like you've never heard before. I know Rufus had a very strange bark, when a bear was roaming around.
ReplyDeleteSomebody around your place has an evil sense of humor. I'll bet he was sitting someplace laughing his head off.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Somebody has quite the sense of humor! :)
ReplyDeleteYa coulda fooled this old chick!!! The bears 'round here love the liquid lick feeders we put out of cattle. The feeds base is molasses. The next best thing to honey for 'em.
ReplyDeleteSomebody's havin' fun! :o)
God bless ya sweet friend and have yourself one terrific day!!!
