Getting along

I finished the green blanket that I have been working on.  Here it is folded.

It is a good size.  I used four skeins of Bernat Blanket Mist-ical the color is spearmint.

So it was off to the Yarn Store upstairs...for a different color yarn.

Nothing much new here.  Far Guy continues to rest, take his meds and do his nebulizer treatments.  I am making headway on the May Baskets...GWATCDR I will finish them today...I am cutting it close this year!

  1. Beautiful and the color is very nice! You need to sometime give us a view of your upstairs yarn store. Thankful for improvements for FG.. I plan on making my first May basket today to take to my neighbor next door. She is a 90 year old widow and I think she would love receiving one. thanks for the encouragement to do this.

  4. Your blanket looks soft and pretty, like Spring. Nice that you have your own Yarn Store :) No clue what that acronym means, other than you WILL get your May Baskets done!! Such a great tradition!

  7. I love the blanket. It took a while because it is close not holey. I’m working on one and having trouble getting it done. You are diligent!

  8. Such a pretty blanket! My granddaughter and you would love comparing and talking about yarns. She is a yarn nut! She also is learning so much about making things.

  10. Sounds like it's good to be in your own home even though the home up north sounds remarkable also.

  11. Nice spring green on the blanket. I was thinking that you might want to have the creek rise just a bit, since you need rain. :-)
