Cards and the yard

Yesterday was a banner day for cards!

Cards from Minnesota, Indiana, Wisconsin and Florida.

Photo cards from Minnesota and North Dakota.

We made a quick trip back to our home in the woods, just to check on things, pick up mail that the Post Office missed forwarding, visit with my baby brother and his bride and to pet Baxter, also got to see my other baby brother and she who sees robins first (from a far because he had ben ill with the flu), and a visit with my parents.  We spent the night and decided that we need a new bed there as our new bed here is much more comfortable.

It was a couple of nice days for travel, only one bad stretch of road and we went a different way on the way back.   There is much more snow there than here.

We had a nice anniversary, we went thru the A & W drive through for lunch!
Thank you for all the anniversary wishes!

Drive through picnics are now a thing with us. I think we enjoy it a bit more than sitting inside anyway!

Glad to hear you had a safe journey there and back. And that is quite a haul for cards! You deserve it, and it's always nice to get a new bed, which is now in your future. :-)

That sounds like an excellent trip home to check on things. My cards are probably getting mailed after Christmas. I can't seem to get motivated enough to finish them up.

The A&W drive-thru for your anniversary meal... sounds EXACTLY like something Dan & I would do, most definitely. So glad the roads were passable and that you had a good day. ~Andrea xoxoxo

Lots of cards. We've gotten more picture cards this year than we have before. I really like them. I hope you received our card too.
We bought a memory foam topper for our bed at home after we put one in the camper a few years ago because it was so comfortable. We've always slept better in the trailer than we did in the house anyway.
Glad you were able to visit and tell everyone hello.
Blessings,
Betsy

Snow is so pretty when the sky is so blue! All gray skies here, but snow is in the forecast for Christmas day and beyond. Hopefully not too much, as I now have pre surgical appointments lining up after Christmas.

I haven’t seen an A&W for years,I always loved stopping at one on the way back to the farm. It was a rare treat. Glad you were able to visit family and pick up your mail.

I like the candy cane card. It looks so old-fashioned. You packed a lot in on your short visit home!

That is nice to have a trip down and rest then return the next day. I bet everyone was glad to see your two and catch up on things.
