See that look..it just got worse.
He did not walk down the aisle, but he did join his parents for a sand ceremony and to leave the ceremony with them.
He is two years old ...and we all know two year olds have minds of their own and will test everyone and everything. Getting all dressed up, missing your nap and being told to smile for pictures just tuckered him out.

That expression is priceless! Maddie is a gorgeous bride. They make a lovely family.
ReplyDeleteMy Granddaughter will be Mikeys age when her Mummy and Daddy get married next year... I am expecting lots of facial expressions too...and she may even steal the show! Good job tho little man,,and I hope you enjoyed the day...even if it got a little much for you

Kids are a riot and always add something unexpected to a wedding. I recall photographing a wedding where the ring bearers and flower girl had some melt downs and then ran willy nilly down the isle.
ReplyDeleteLove this!
Better than a "perfect picture". The first one is a story to tell for years and years. I hope they have a wonderful life together.
ReplyDeleteThe "look" on Mikey's face is priceless. Hope they show that one to all his girlfriends. Hahaha
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled that this family has such a happy future together. Thank you for the great pictures, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteI've even seen flower girls and ring bearers who fell asleep during the wedding at the front of the church. It will be a precious memory anyway!
ReplyDeleteI love the look - ring bearers seem to always steal the show!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I am loving the wedding photos!
ReplyDeleteThat first pic is great even though Hey Mikey has a frown on his face.
ReplyDeleteI've seen that look--LOL!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. :)
Aww, poor little guy. I love that he still took part in the ceremony.
ReplyDeletePoor kid! I'm sure he provided live entertainment for the rest of the guests.
ReplyDeletePoor Mikey! Should have planned the wedding around nap time I think!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he was able to be in part of the ceremony. Anyone who knows kids, knows that 2 year olds are completely unpredictable. He was a cutie even grumpy. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
They also don't understand what is going on so they just lose. Otherwise two year olds are the best!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! A beautiful wedding - yes being "2" is tough :) what a cutie though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for more great wedding pictures. Too bad Mikey was having not his best day....oh well...glad everything else went well. And glad you and far guy could be there! Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteWe all get cranky when we are need of a nap
ReplyDeleteThe "Terrible Twos" at their very best, I get cranky when I miss my nap too! He did look handsome all dressed up though!
ReplyDeleteGood pictures. It must have been a beautiful day on Lake Bemidji!
ReplyDeleteEven so, Mikey looked quite handsome with his colorful bow tie and suspenders.
