We had a busy 4th of July. Lunch with Jen, Andy, Rod, Jamie and the girls. (We spent time in Hawaii with the girls and they are delightful company!)
I sprayed some Poison Ivy...but still have more to do.
We did some woodcarving outside on the patio and my baby brother and his wife stopped by with the gang from North Dakota..Katie, Hunter, Jordan, Gavin and Aubrey...those kids grew taller since we saw them last. The Twins have their permits to drive!
Miss Miney and Little Elvis are still with us, Little Elvis is keeping the squirrels on their toes!
All during the day Far Guy readied materials for a project that Andy and Jen helped us with. It was accomplished and I will take a photo soon. Cross one big summer project off the list!

Happy 4th to all of you!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a good day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a good day for everybody. I love that lawn ornament. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou were busy! We had company for a few days but they left by 10 am on the Fourth. Then the thunder storms took over and put a major damper on anything else Fourth of July-ish. Bob didn’t mind that cuz there were fewer fireworks than usual and she could spend less time hiding out in the bathtub.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a really good day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful day! We spent the day with a friend and her family. Other than a little too much political venting from one guest it was a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day with all the family!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your day with family and extended family.
ReplyDeleteA day with family is a good day! A new project? I'm looking forward to seeing it! Happy you had a good holiday.
ReplyDeleteIt was good that you had family to get together. Our neighborhood was packed with cars as families were getting together. We never did that as a kid but it must be the new family holiday. We went out for pancakes for breakfast and steak for supper. The place was filled with many car show people.
ReplyDeleteIt's better to stay busy rather than sit around and veg.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a very good 4th of July. I love your yard sign.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
A busy day with friends and family... exactly what we had on Monday ( Canada Day).
ReplyDeleteWe live a few miles from the border and sat outside and heard but couldn't see the fireworks at 10 last night. Luckily it was a clear evening.
What fun times you're having with family, and you still get those sweet pups around too. Good for you. I love your flag...reminds me of the song "God Bless the USA"....Wishing you two all the very Best!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you had a full and fun Fourth.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a slow afternoon after a busy day yesterday and again this morning.
Sounds like a perfect 4th.
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful. We had a super quiet day. The evening's storms provided color and fireworks for us made by mother nature!
ReplyDeleteI love your little garden flag! I've made a few of those for family, so fun! That does sound like a very busy day. You guys make sure to get your rest, though. Hugs and prayers always! ♥
ReplyDeleteI was busy taking care of Annie and the neighborhood was quiet until I tried to go to sleep! LOL! Then they all came out of the woodwork! You had a nice 4th!
