Last evening I got to visit my newest Great Nephew. He is beautiful so handsome. So little..but big..he still weighs over nine pounds. He was resting happily on his Grandfathers chest when I got there. Teddy is just five days old.
He was more awake when I first got there..I was able too ohh and ahh and meet him properly and then he yawned, closed both his eyes and went to sleep..after that he would only open one eye. (Boring old Great Auntie’s anyway!) Look at that hair!
Some of his cousins came to see him too. Of course they all wanted to hold him! Everyone had a turn..twice!
The girls are getting ready for their very own new brother or sister any day now. ( They are going to be such good help for their Mama.) Teddy scrunched up his brow at the girls and their giggling..but he didn’t cry.
This is grandchild #9 for my other baby brother and his wife. They now have four grandsons and five granddaughters. I am lucky..that five of them live within walking distance:)
So, adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove all his hair. So sweet to see the others holding him with such joy! Chris & Steph had a false alarm on new year's eve...the 5th is the official due date for their baby. I saw your comment on another blog about how bitterly cold your weather is. I bet Chris is glad they are in Calif. for the birth!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your family on this new precious blessing.
Teddy is going to be either a professional football player or a chef.
ReplyDeleteHe sure doesn't look like a newborn, he's so big and pink! Very cute little guy, though. Welcome, Teddy! :-)
ReplyDeleteTeddy is so adorable. You are very lucky to have family living so close. Congrats to your son and family on the new addition.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is a beautiful baby, and so lucky to have so much family around to love and care for him!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice beginning to the new year for your family. He looks cuddly and complacent, like nothing much is going to bother him.
ReplyDeleteWonderful smiles on the girl cousins's faces.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little fatty! And that cleft in his chin! Loved seeing the little girls holding this little guy. Little girls do love babies.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, love the baby smell and to snuggle with one, he is adorable...... hey, he`s winking at me, already a charmer.......Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteLong life and much happiness to Teddy. He IS a lucky baby to have all that family attention. Thanks for sharing him with us. (I could never produce a child with hair--mine were both bald as eggs!)

Babies are so neat. Our minister's wife let me hold her three week old girl the other day. She wasn't impressed by me at all as she was asleep.
ReplyDeleteLook at those cheeks!
