Leaves

The leaves are changing and falling.

I suppose it is time. They must fall in the Fall.

Far Guy mulched (chopped up) the leaves the other day.  Round one is done…about nine more to go.

I cannot drive the lawn mower yet…maybe next week.  I could kinda drive the buggy in the grocery store yesterday….with more than one hand.  So that is an improvement.

Changing fast

It is cool and rainy here.  We should be at peak leaf color in a few days.

Glad to hear your hand is improving a bit. Don't overdo it. I'm hoping to hear eventually that your hand is better than it was before the surgery.

Very happy to hear your hand is slowly improving. Patience is a hard thing to deal with - i know as I have very little of it. Fall is here also; leaves are dropping like flies all over my lawn. Still very hot and humid tho.

Yay for the hand getting better, even if it's slow. Watching the leaves change is bittersweet for me. On one hand, it's the natural cycle, but on the other hand, those leaves will all fall leaving behind bare trees. :-(

Hard to believe the leaves will be at peak color in a few days. Here, the leaves have not even started to turn. Won't be long before I can start complaining about raking leaves every day!

You should be getting very nice weather in a few days. I'm sending it your way.

Our leaves are just beginning to turn. Peak color here is usually end of October.

I road my ride on a smaller ferris wheel because I asked a girl to ride it with me. She did not know that I had never been on a ride like that ever before. I now live in her same town today, living far on the other side of town. You have painted up the ride chair to look so well restored. I bet it goes inside over the winter.

Went from sauna weather to nippy. I'm ready for fall, even if it does seem a little early. :)

Fall is an exciting time—especially if you live in parts of the country that have very definite seasons. Leaf color gives us such a lift!

Glad to hear you're on the mend.

We are having a few more days of summer here. Leaf color is a ways off yet.

I hope you do have lovely Fall colors. The blistering summer and the drought wreaked havoc with Fall colors here. Some trees dropped their leaves early, and the leaves of many smaller trees that turn color (dogwood in particular) have burnt to a crisp and are dead.
