Saturday afternoon Andy, Jen, Noah , Adam, Far Guy and I went to an escape room.
You pay to get locked in a room and follow clues to unlock a series of locks to find keys. It takes some keen observation and teamwork to make it out in an hour. We asked before going in what the sucess rate was…50% sucess. You are allowed to ask simple questions and you are allowed three clues within the hour.
With great teamwork we made it out in 45 minutes using only two of the clues! Plenty of time to spare. Within our group we had many different points of view, it was a good mix for the challenge.
Adam and Noah enjoyed themselves. It was a great way to stay unplugged for awhile and spend time with the old folks.

How interesting. Congrats for getting out in 45 minutes!
How fun! I've never heard of such, but would love to try it!
I want a room like that! And congratulations to all of you for being such a good group! Makes me smile. :-)
Impressive way you and your group beat the challenge.
What a way to focus your mind, and have fun! I've never heard of anything like it—sounds like such a creative game!
Sounds like fun.
I love this idea - it's clever, unique and challenging. Well done to complete the task under the timeline.
That sounds like so much fun, especially to do with teens. Never heard of it before.
Now how cool is that...I wish there was something like that here.

Wow! Congrats on such a good escape time! When I saw an escape room news feature on tv, the news team did not make it out it time. How would it work if you went again? Different clues, or other rooms?
What fun! I never heard of this before. You have a smart family to escape so soon.
Good teamwork too!

This sounds a bit scary and a bit exciting. You had fun and that's the main thing.
Glad you got out in record time. Never heard of this before. We have corn mazes in the fall up here and some find it really hard to navigate. Hugs, LJ
I caught that word "unplugged" in your sentence. Like it.
