Far Guy has a bacterial eye infection, worse in one eye but starting in the other, an eye doctor was seen and antibiotic drops have been started. Far Guy's immune system is not what it used to be.
When we were in town we picked up a pizza for supper. One less thing to worry about.Hope I don't get it...the eye doctor said it was contagious. Uffda.

Oh girl! I know it seems like it will never stop but, it will...and in a Good way! Hang in there!!
ReplyDeleteBIG HUG
Donna
I too hope you don't get it and that his antibiotics clear it up. Praying.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteWe had pizza last night too.
Oh no! Just what you don’t need. Poor Far Guy. I hope your back, leg, hip are getting better.
ReplyDeleteOk. I guess you both need to be wrapped in bubbles! I am so sorry. I'm sure FG's treatment has reduced his immune system...I'm sure you know that.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Donna. Gentle Hugs.
One thing after another for you two! Hope the eyes clear up quickly for him, and that you don't get it too. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteEye infections are no fun. Makes doing everything more difficult. Hard not to catch them, best wishes that you don't.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, glad you caught it now before it got worse! Hope the pizza was good.
ReplyDeleteGood grief, poor guy. Fingers crossed, you don't catch it too.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I sure hope the eye drops do their thing quickly and that you don't get it, too. *hugs*
ReplyDeletelovely pansies....so cheerful...here in MD they plant hundreds of them in november and they do survive all winter...
ReplyDeleteOh doggone it, Connie! I hope the antibiotic drops work quickly, to give Far Guy some relief. Uffda is right! Hugs & prayers, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh man! If it isn't one thing it's another. I'm so sorry that you guys are going through all of this. We had pizza last night too. Sometimes it's nice not to have to cook in this heat.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
Betsy
Take care.
ReplyDeleteEye infections are very irritating. I hope you don't get it.
ReplyDeleteWell that's the last thing you guys need!
ReplyDeleteI'm also with Donna. I am hopeful you will avoid the infection.
ReplyDeleteNot fun and I sure hope you don't get it!
ReplyDeleteOh, dear, I hope you don’t catch it. The cancer treatment probably has lowered his immune system another notch. Pizza sounds good. Tomorrow Laura is having her kids over. I’m included. She making homemade ice cream. That perked my taste buds. I bought ice to freeze the cream and paper plates to keep from fixing anything. Eric will grill.
ReplyDeleteHope you're both ok!
ReplyDeleteDarn! You guys just can’t catch a break!
ReplyDeleteTake a nod from those pretty little pansies and try to smile. It's better than frowning, or crying. It's surprising what forcing a smile can do for you. I'm reminding myself to practice this too.
ReplyDeletePansies are so pretty. Eye infections are not. I hope Far Guy's eyes respond quickly to the antibiotic ( and that you don't get it).
ReplyDeleteHopefully the drops kick in quickly and things don’t get worse for Far Guy. Good thing you saw the eye doctor right away. And that pizza—sometimes you just need one less thing to think about. Smart move.
ReplyDeleteIk hope don’t catch it too. Hand washing, no eye-touching… easier said than done, right? Sending strength and good thoughts your way, all the way to the far side. 💛
