I got five nests out of that skein of yarn! They are not exactly the same, because I am easily distracted!
They are ready for the messy decoupage…one of these days I will get around to it!
I made lemon pudding for Far Guy it is one of his favorites. Everything has to be done in stages…gather the ingredients…rest…throw it all in the saucepan…rest…cook it up and pour it into dishes..rest…make meringue…enjoy it after supper!
It seems one larger project is all I can do in one day so I have to pick and choose what is the most important…however sitting in a chair crocheting, reading or petting Sadie is easy. I fear I am becoming a lady of leisure.
Far Side
Well, you've earned your leisure. I am looking to have some of that this weekend. Quiet time where I can do nothing important.
ReplyDeleteYou will NEVER be a true lady of leisure, if I know you. It might take you longer but you still get things done!
ReplyDeleteYour nests turned out great. Your lemon pudding making sounds like me whenever the chore requires standing or not sitting in my favorite chair. We are definitely on the same page!
ReplyDeleteBeing a lady of leisure is probably what you need right now.
ReplyDeleteOh that pudding sounds delicious! Perfect for Summer. Homemade everything is best.
ReplyDeleteYour nests are a functional work of art. You are still getting a lot done! One larger project is more than most get done in a day.
I have Life Impossible purchased and waiting TBR! I enjoyed Matt Haig's Midnight Library and want to read more of his books.
Welcome to the world of the lady of leisure! You got the nests done fast.
ReplyDeleteYou deserve to be a "lady of leisure", my dear....most of all now, while you're recuperating. With my legs & body what it is, that's how I do all chores...do a little, rest....do a little, rest. I absolutely hate it but pray for acceptance. Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou deserve leisure! Enjoy it. Real lemon pudding is a hard task. Lots of steps and chances to mess it up. Meringue is the same.i hope he appreciated all that work you did.
