Highlights

Highlights of our day Tuesday:  It rained, we went to town to pick up prescriptions, got gas and a car wash and had Dairy Queen for lunch.

Waiting on this dog to show up with Jen.  It will be good to have company for a few days!

Sadie always makes us smile!

We  had an egg in a basket for supper and fruit.  I also had green beans...Far Guy passed on the green beans.

Minnesota weather: Rainy and humid, High 83F or 29C Low was 67F or 20C.

  1. Sadie is smiling! It’s hot here and no rain in sight. When it was raining daily I tried to not complain as I knew what was coming when it stopped.

And Sadie's smile made me smile too x

  3. I wonder if "egg in a basket" is the same thing as "egg in a hole"? My kids used to love egg in a hole when they were little where I would cut a hole in a slice of bread and toast the bread in a hot pan while cooking an egg in the center.

  6. So humid here too. There have been some very severe storms this week but have missed us. It is kind of drizzly here this morning but that appears about to end too. Get lots of Sadie loving the next few days.

  7. Dogs are great healers (sometimes great heelers, too - but not mine!) and are good for a person's soul!

    1. Cut a circle in a slice of bread, butter the edges put it in a fry pan and put an egg in the center, dip the circle in the egg white fry both until the circle is browned and the egg is done the way you like it!
