Uffda

My eye did not improve...but it did not get worse.  It still felt like something was in there. A trip to the Eye Doctor revealed that the Medical Doctor ( who I said was incompetent) left debris in my eye.   The Eye Doctor removed the chunk of stuff that she called a rock.  I have to do special eye drops for a week now.

Maybe now my eye can finally get better. One can hope.

It has been raining here.  Not much else is new.

You were right about the incompetence of that first doctor. I do hope it can now get better.

Yes, you definitely have more chance of it healing now the debris has actually been removed. Some doctors are idiots. I have a small scar on the side of one of my eyelids from an idiot eye doctor with talons instead of nails who wouldn't listen to me when I told her that her nail was digging in to me so much it hurt. I've had it a little over 15 years now. It's a tiny scar you have to know where to look for to find, but it shouldn't have happened. Hope you end up with no lasting issues from your idiot eye doctor experience.

Some of these "doctors" need to "practice" more!!!

That makes me mad at the first doctor's incompetence. We have dealt with that in our family, too. In the medical field we expect a higher level of expertise because it is so vital to our well-being.
I went through two years of "lesser" health and sickness due to two doctors (allergist & GP) who would not listen. It has affected me to this day - - but it's all good. We are still here.
Very, very thankful you found someone who knew exactly the right thing to do.

Oh brother. I can imagine the rock did more damage as it was left there. Hoping you'll have some relief and healing soon.

It seems your opinion of the MD is correct. Good to be on the mend.

Oh dear - that doctor does sound incompetent. Glad the eye doctor was able to get rid of the debris. Rain keeps going around us and we could use some. This morning it's sprinkling but that is it so far.

Oh gosh! Glad you got some help. How miserable.

I avoid doctors as much as possible. The one who left the rock in your eye probably should have had his own eyes checked.

Oh my goodness..,...that is just awful Connie. I'm glad you realized something was STILL wrong and went to your eye doctor. Get much better soon!

Ugh, there isn't much feels worse than debris in the eye! Are you folks getting the haze from the Alberta fires? Making for some beautiful sunsets here in Ontario. On the other hand it's wicked on us folks with allergy induced asthma.

I'm glad you went to the eye doctor. Any longer with that "rock" could have caused real damage.
We need to be able to rely on and trust our medical providers.

Oh no, that's terrible. Sorry the debris wasn't all removed the first time. Heal better!
