Double Dose

I have an active case of Lymes on top of my Chronic Lymes...isn't that just peachy keen.

The bullseye mark on my thigh made it a positive diagnosis. ( My bullseye is about the size of a silver dollar and perfectly round and can appear 3 -30 days after a tick bite) I have no idea when I sustained a tick bite  and did not see a tick.  I must have scratched it off or my clothing rubbed it off.

I saw my Doctor on Monday morning she wants me to take between 21 and 30 days of antibiotics.  She said to take it as long as my stomach would handle it.  She said I should feel better after a while.

I have a terrible ear ache, it is most likely the spot that Lymes decided to attack at the moment. Like my Doctor said " You never know with Lymes what it will do."

Joe Pye Weed starting to bloom.  Native to Minnesota.

Good thing I have very little planned for the next couple of weeks.   I am headed for a gold star in napping.

I am so sorry to hear about the Lymes disease. Just what you don't need right now. I will keep you in my prayers that you get well soon.

I love the color of Joe Pye Weed. I think I saw it while hiking in the fog!

Oh no on the Lyme's and 30 or more days of antibiotics. That Doxy makes my stomach hurt so bad. That is like a double whammy. Sure hoping you get to feeling better sooner than later.

That is awful news, but hopefully the antibiotics will knock it out of you. If it's not one thing...

My heart hurts so very much for you having to deal with this. You all are very good though to get to the doctor as soon as necessary. My guess is you take probiotics sort of in between some of your doses of antibiotics? The only things about getting sick at "our age" is that we are retired and can rest. Plus it means we are still above ground! It gets tiring though dealing with it many days, Praying you bounce back fast.
PS. Same thing at our place with ticks - - you don' know you have one until you see the evidence left behind. We also deal with chiggers which fortunately carry no disease but can leave a horrible reaction for up to a month.

Oooooooooooh ((((((((Connie)))))))))!! I am so very sorry about your active case of Lyme as well as the old case flaring up again! Perhaps some tick spray is in order whenever you go outside, eh? Of course I know you spend a lot of time outside so it would be a pain to have to apply it practically everyday. Pooey! You poor soul! Take good care and I'll be praying for you. Please update us as you are able, ok? ~Andrea xoxo

Oh no, Connie! That is terrible news. I sure hope the antibiotic will start working and lessen the pain and discomfort. I have no idea how Lyme disease is treated but I hope relief is available.
