Pairs

The Rosebreasted Grosbeaks are really different yet they are a pair.

Rosebreasted Grosbeaks Fe and M

Female on the left and colorful male on the right.

Male and Female Orioles

Orioles; female on the orange and the male waiting patiently.

The Orioles are still here, the Grosbeaks are just passing through they only stay a few days.

I watched the Royal Wedding mostly it was so early in the morning…I fell asleep for some of it.  Some of the so called “famous people” I had no idea who they were…neither did Far Guy.

I enjoyed the wedding. A nice break from news.
I love the grosbeaks. I snagged a great photo of a male juvenile, once. He was brown on the top, beginning to change to the red on the bottom. I had trouble IDing it! I haven't seen any of the orioles, although I did snap a tanager last week! I LOVE SPRING!!!!!

Much to do over a wedding, just hope it last.
Love seeing your birds.

We have grosbeaks at our feeders for the first time and the males are so pretty. I didn't know that they just pass through! I watched the actual wedding ceremony but that's about it. We had two of our grands for a sleepover and they would much rather watch Paw Patrol!!

I love how those birds posed for you! Beautiful pics.

No fair for the female birds. Much different in the human world, where ladies perch fancy hats on there heads and call them fascinating, or is that fascinators? Some have feathers, like birds, but they are no doubt male bird feathers.
Yes, I watched the wedding, several times, beginning at 4:00 am.

Such beautiful birds! I only watched the highlights afterwards. Some people got up in the middle of the night to watch it live. To each her own, I guess. It was lovely, though. :-)

Beautiful birds!
I did not see the wedding. Don't have regular TV and way too early for this late riser--LOL! :)

I didn't watch the wedding either, just some bits that were on the news later.
I'd sooner watch the birds at the feeder especially if I had lovelies like your recent visitors.

Beautiful birds. I have a hummingbird feeder out at the lake but haven’t seen any yet. I slept through the wedding, too early for us west-coasters, but watched some on u-tube later. I didn’t know most of those “famouspeople” either. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

I would rather watch the birds, they behave more royally. No use for royalty.
