My cousin Chuckie still has a cart filled with flowers in his yard in the summertime.
I think the donkey and cart pattern was originally Uncle Wilberts.
My parents had two of these carts filled with flowers out in front of their house at the resort. My Mother used to plant Geraniums in hers too.
It was fun to see, I had almost forgotten about them.
That is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of trying out some odd and different containers for flowers again this year. I do like geraniums, they are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the heart cut-outs in the cart wheels.
ReplyDeleteUncle Wilbert's really cute pattern should be saved! I know some folks that would make this cart for their flowers!
ReplyDeleteIt's adorable! I prefer geraniums because they are so hardy.
ReplyDeleteCute - would be fun to get a pattern and make some :)
ReplyDeleteCute cart! Geraniums seem like a good pick. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile on my face
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the cart and geraniums looking so lovely. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery fun, makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteI like the caption Wistful Wednesday and the topics you find for it.
ReplyDeleteI like it when old customs are continued to be carried on. Nostalgia is a good feeling.
ReplyDeleteI adore that sweet old-fashioned cart and donkey.
ReplyDeleteSo glad we have good memories like this one.
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing those before in my younger years. It is a very old pattern.
ReplyDeleteThat is a darling lawn planter! I want one!
