Fall Projects

The kitchen and bathroom have been put back together after being torn apart for the computer wires.

Far Guy mowed the wildgardens down while I cleaned out my car, the windows are washed and the inside is spotless and free of dog hair.

I have my own shop vac in my garage. Didya know that mice can crawl up the shop vac hose and then die inside the canister?  They can, then your hero comes by and says “Sweetie I think there is a mouse in your shop vac it smells horrible.  I will dispose of it for you.”

Late in the afternoon I watched Quiz Show on Netflix…had a long nap woke up when it was over and then began watching Once Upon A Time.  Once Upon A Time was better than I anticipated.  Far Guy cooked supper...spaghetti.

You have reminded me that I need to thoroughly clean my car. After all your work, you deserved a nap and how nice to wake up to FG's spaghetti. Sounds delish! Hope you guys have an enjoyable day.

You get lots of satisfaction from getting lots of things done and naps too!

Dog hair is a constant battle. I actually like the living room carpet and it collects on it and can be taken off with the vac easily. The rest gets swept once it is visible. Barney has the fall itches but his winter coat seems to be coming in now.

It's my hair now that is a constant battle.
Falling out big time.
On {The Departure Date} What a great way to understand death.
I think all can get it by thinking of death that way. Thanks, I like it.
You read my [Dying Grace] Post!

A wonderful life—small jobs. naps, and a resident hero! Looks like you are ready for winter!

Far Guy is a keeper! Nice Guy to take care of the shop vac mice. Does that make him a Mice Guy? I just watched Quiz Show too! athought it was supposed to be nice here again today. It's not!

Dang mice - we have many stories of where they have climbed into and nested (horrible).. some items weren't to be saved (to dirty and stinky) so they went in the burn pile. It sounds like you have been busy :) hope your computers are working better.

Ugh...a dead mouse in the shopvac would be the worst! Glad you have a nice hubby to take care of such things. Lovely wildflower pic.

Having a dead mouse in your shop vac is preferable to having a dead rat under your kitchen cabinets. Nothing to be done but let it dry up. We've ordered odor absorbents from Amazon that should come tomorrow. The cat most likely brought it in while we were away on our trip.. We saw it but then it disappeared. We found a small gap in the kick board against a wall. Now that is where the odor is being emitted. Ugh.

I finally got my own shop vac this summer ( at a garage sale) and keep it behind the house near the door I use when going to the garden. It is so handy there but I never dreamed that a mouse could climb right up and die in the vac. bag. If I start smelling something horrible I'll know what to check.

Sounds like the two of you are back to full speed. Mice dying in the vac sounds pretty awful! :-)

Yuk, that's as bad as a dead mouse in a toaster ;-)

I got my windows of my car washed inside and out but that was it. We'll see if I have time to do the rest. Good for you! I could use a 'sweetie' to help me around here but I'm pretty set in my ways now and I'm sure any 'sweetie' I would find would be too! LOL! I have my kids and they are a big help.
