I am done raking, blowing and mulching…D.O.N.E.
The mower was cleaned up and put away for the winter.
The weather has been beautiful, perfect for the last few jobs in the yard.
We washed another window…three more left to do.
The Purple Leaf Sand Cherry is putting on its fall show. Most of this shrub was a goner last spring, I cut it back and it made an okay showing after that.
I put some bleach and water on the patio pavers last week, now it is raining…I hope they get all cleaned off. If not I have another plan…that involves Oxiclean a scrub brush and a bucket.
Only a few things left on my October list!
I got out the pumpkin bells and a few other fall decorations.
Hooray for you! Now I hope you have a little break between raking leaves and shoveling snow.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice feeling when all the yard work is done ! Still more leaves for us to clean up here . The wetaher has been lovely here . Lovely photos . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteHooray for you. Wish I could say the same for here. I just finished a mow/mulch and my front yard looks like I never touched it. Too many leaves still on the trees.
ReplyDeleteYour yard looks great! Congratulations for getting up all the leaves. Now it can snow any time and you are ready.
ReplyDeleteShirley H.
Looks good. You've certainly done your part in getting everything ready for the winter months. We've still got a little bit of fall first, though. Except in Minnesnowda. Winter is always much longer there. :-)
ReplyDeleteGood job! We can all rest now that you have all that yard work done. I need to look at my patio for a good cleaning as well, kind of green at the moment from all the rain making them mildewy. Now you can get out a good book and do some reading, or maybe do some baking for the season.
ReplyDeleteEnviously green here. We're finishing up a very windy and rainy 24 hours here. If I could figure out how to insert a photo into the comment box, you'd be able to see the sea of yellow - probably a foot thick - that blankets our yard.
ReplyDeleteYeah the yard is done - that sounds like a lot of work... here I suppose I could pick up dead pine needles but I usually just rake a little in the spring :) Fall is here - I am not crazy about the limited daylight hours after I get off work - hard to get some things done including fun things!
ReplyDeleteYour yard is so neat and clean! Leaf clean-up hasn't even begun here. I can tell you stress is on it's way!
ReplyDeleteI wish my yard work was finished - soon, I hope.
ReplyDeleteMorning, looks wonderful Connie. Love the pumpkin chime, sweet. Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to putting my lawn mower up too, but probably not for another month. Like your hanging jack o' lantern.
ReplyDeleteHooray for picture perfect weather to speed things along to the "Done" list!
ReplyDeleteGreat that you can identify a finish line. If it's nice I just keep finding things to do.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are making strides to be ready for that dreaded word, winter and snow ;)
ReplyDeleteThe yard looks just perfect. Glad the mower/mulcher is put away for the winter.
ReplyDeleteSay hi to Chance. ;)
Your yard looks wonderful....better than mine does during the growing season. I probably won't mow again but then around here you never know.
ReplyDeleteCute pumpkin bells. Feels great to get the yardwork done and we've enjoyed nice weather too.
