First it rained then it froze and then it turned to snow. Big flakes…very Christmas like.
Chance helped herd snow.
The neighbors took some of our snow home with them..we said “Take all you want.”
It was a quiet day..we worked on the downstairs “Blue Tree” and had a nap.
The Blue Tree might be done..I have a few more ornaments that will probably find their way to the tree before it is declared complete. For the most part..it is done. I worked upstairs adding some Christmas decorations here and there..when you have lots of decorations it seems a shame to have them packed away for most of the year..so I drug a bunch out. I will probably regret that decision when it is time to put them all away again:)
Nobody will say that you make it easy for yourself at Christmastime. That tree looks great!
ReplyDeleteI adore the blue tree. Cute snap of Chance chasing snowflakes. We have clouds and our temps are staying right around 55. Your pics look very Christmas-y compared to our balmy weather. Your home is lovely. Hope you guys have a great day.
ReplyDeleteMorning, the blue tree is so so pretty.......I just love the picture of Chance herding snow flakes, so cute......Enjoy the day, Francine.
ReplyDeleteChance shows off his stuff, and you show off your with that beautiful blue tree. Have a great day! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! We are supposed to get some snow today but also rain, yuck!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree, beautiful Chance, beautiful snow. However, please keep the snow in MN; I don't want any here in S.E. WI. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos ! Miggs does the same thing . Just rain here no snow as of yet the temps have reached 50°F . Have a good day ! Oh love your header !
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got snow, we want some!!!! Does blue tree get shiney brights?
ReplyDeleteNo the blue tree gets plain old ornaments:)
DeleteGreat post. Lovely photos. We've never been real Christmassy and now with the kids on their own several states away, we are less so.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's pouring down rain today.
Have a blessed week and thanks for sharing your Christmas with us! :o)
Dank, cloudy and freezing rain here today. It fits my mood. No doubt Christmas with the Grands in Arizona will help...:)
ReplyDeleteYou may regret the taking down of the decorations but you and others will enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI like your shiny bright tree and the downstairs trees. I always regret the decorations when it's time to put them away...and delight when it's time to decorate.

Hooray for snow... at least that's what Chance seems to be saying!
ReplyDeleteOur first Aussie was a menace when we tried to shovel snow. I was always afraid that he would get hurt by the shovel.
The blue tree looks beautiful!
Your blue tree looks great. I always had an all red lighted tree in my younger years. I saw all blue lights at Menards but they were not the twinkle small lights. They had them set to flash on and off all at the same time. Your tree looks great with your log cabin wall background.
ReplyDeleteLove your trees. Thanks for sharing. Ann
ReplyDeleteThis one is pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteHeck! Leave them up till Valentines Day--ROFL!! ;)
