Recently I finished two baby blankets for the stash.
Purple...because someone told me when I have a baby I would like a purple blanket because the nursery will be purple. Alrighty then. Great Grandma is prepared!Blue...just because.
The yarn is Baby Bee Snugs and Kisses...the purple is called Grape and the blue is called Blueberry. I used a size J hook and 3 to 4 skeins of yarn.
One thing about this yarn is that you stay nice and warm when crocheting!
Far Guy made brats and tater tots for supper. He can cook!
Minnesota Weather; High was 10F or -12C and the Low was 5F or -15C.
I had an MRI on my lower back to see what is or isn't happening. I slept all afternoon after the tiny little pill the Dr prescribed so I would not freak out in the confined space.
Far Side
Sweet baby blanket! And it's always great to have a husband that can cook!

Uffdah, MRI's are noisy. Rich couldn't handle them, but I didn't mind them so much. At least you got a good nap out of it!
ReplyDeleteHoping that your MRI results come back with great news. I really struggle with those MRI machines since I'm so claustrophobic. That is some good sleeping though with the little pill that helps you relax. You are on top of things with the blankets. Again...you amaze me with all your talents and your ability to crochet so quickly.
ReplyDeleteI love your blankets - there will be som lucky babies! I should actually make a baby quilt or two...just in case! I hope the MRI brings a resolution to your problems.
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to be prepared with those baby gifts. I like having a baby quilt or two in the closet, just waiting for the next one needed. Your doctor need to find some answers for you back pain. Maybe 2026 will come with a fix.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the afghan I'm working on during this cold spell too.
ReplyDeleteSome babies are going to love these blankets.
ReplyDeleteThat pill was a life saver.
ReplyDeleteI have used that yarn. It’s really soft. Makes a snuggle blanket!
I hope they find out the problem. Enough! is ENOUGH!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely baby blankets! I particularly like the purple.
ReplyDeleteHope the MRI provides some answers.
