I worked on photographs and finished my book club read! I can start an inbetween book again. Far Guy watched movies on his I Pad. Jen went grocery shopping, Andy took Sadie for a walk and then made Calzones from scratch. They were really good!
This was an easy puzzle 500 pieces that was finished last week.
Only three medical appointments this week...practically a week off!
Minnesota weather; High 24F or -4C Low was 22F or -6C eh! Looks like we are in for a mild week with temperatures above zero!
Far Side
You guys are great puzzle pieces. I’m a dunce.
ReplyDeleteGlad FG is able to do some things he enjoys!
Looks like a busy week even though it is only 3 appts. None for me hopefully. Other than getting my car looked at.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to have an ice event Monday night, so it feels like a good day not to go anywhere on Tuesday.
I'm not looking forward to getting older. Three appointments in a week sounds burdensome. Some of your weeks before Christmas were absolutely terrifying to me!
ReplyDeleteYour week of “mild” temperatures made me laugh! We would freeze to death. 😁 RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteI keep running into snowbirds from Minnesota, and think of you. Brrr! I want to sit down and do a puzzle, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great day when you can cross some stuff off the list and someone else does delicious cooking!
ReplyDeleteGlad you get a week "off" to enjoy more family time.
ReplyDeleteOur temperatures are warming, too. 30 degrees (F) this morning. Also sun is shining. Glad to hear you only have a few doctors' appointments this week. My chemo week was last week. Glad it's over for six weeks. But it is keeping me alive. And there is my first great grandchild due in February.
ReplyDeletegeez a personal chef...i am jealous!
ReplyDeleteHaving someone who enjoys cooking and takes over some of that chore is marvelous! I've made calzones in the past and they are a bit fiddly.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the appointments.
A somewhat relaxing for y'all. yay!! calzones sound so good and how wonderful that Andy did the cooking. My granddaughter (Mylee) has put several puzzles together during her Christmas break. she said it's so relaxing.
ReplyDeleteA good start to the week. I've ordered 5 books for my lunchtime reading - It'll be hard to pick which one to start with.
ReplyDeleteGlad it's 'warming up' in your direction - I remember when we lived in Wisconsin (where my husband is from) and Alaska, that after we'd spent days below zero, zero felt balmy! 😊
Calzones from scratch sound so good!!! I enjoy almost all bready products but a certain man does not :(
ReplyDeleteCalzone for one is hardly worth it.
It sounds like a great Sunday for everyone. We're in the 40's today and it feels like spring. I know, wishful thinking. We got our drivers licenses renewed this morning for another five years. Glad that's done. Still waiting for word on the biopsy. I think waiting for news is the worst part but I am still amazingly calm considering everything. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
You sound relaxed and happy. That's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI wish we could be looking for a mild week.
ReplyDeleteI love Calzones! My husband is the puzzle
ReplyDeletebuilder and me only once in awhile!
I am going so slowly on my puzzle.
