On my desk

Since I am working on smaller mosaic squares sometimes I crochet at my desk.

Working on Patchwork square #16, I have been watching Ordinary Joe or the Amazing Race and recently on Netflix Inventing Anna which is based on a true story.

Sometimes I am interrupted.

Sadie knows how to get my attention!

Far Guy spoke for a few moments with his sister she said "I will be okay and I love you."

I had to laugh at Sadie getting your attention. What a fun dog!

I'm glad FG got to talk to his sister for a little bit.

I've been glued to the news this weekend which I know isn't good. I need to watch other things too. Sadie is one smart cookie and cute to boot!
I'm glad Far Guy is having conversations with his sister. He will hold on to them always. Dennis still talks about visiting his sister just before she passed. She is still so missed. Only 57. Way too young to be gone.
Blessings and love,
Betsy

Your SIL sounds as if she is at peace. It must be so difficult for him to only be able to talk to her from afar.

I occasionally do some hand stitching at my desk too. However, I've decided my desk chair is part of my "aching" problem. So I'm testing out a cushion.

That Sadie is such a character. Not much help but fun to be around.

I'm thankful for Far Guy that he's been able to talk to his sister. I agree with Sara, it would seem she has is at peace.

How incredibly difficult it is to say our good-byes.

Sadie has your number!! Staying in touch with loved ones is so important. Hope you & Far Guy are able to travel to see your sister-in-law in person.

Sadie looks like she is a lot of help! My "helpers" right now are the two legged variety. It is a blessing that Far Guy and his sister can connect at this time. I wish them both peace.

Sadie seems to be quite in tune with you. She will miss you when you head home in the spring.

Sadie is a character! I’m sure Far Guy’s daily calls with his sister are sometimes difficult, but those calls are a true blessing.

Sadie sure does love you! It will be hard for both you and her when you two go back home.
I'm glad Far Guy is still able to talk with his sister. It sounds like she is accepting the situation and trying to help him. I keep her and your family in my prayers. I lost one of my two brothers to cancer 14 years ago and I will always remember my phone conversations with him in those final weeks. They are precious to me.

God Bless far guy's sister. Praying for her as I think about her every day. Makes you wonder if you'll have time for goodbyes when your end comes?

I'm sure Sadie knows exactly how to wrap all of you around her paw and get attention when she feels you've been doing your own thing too long. LOL!
